Buy them cheaply, drive it till the wheels fall off. You cant go wrong with these. But try to get a 03 or newer.

I love my car despite the problems and would stand behind it, but do find it hard to suggest it over a mazda3 or other such estate cars

I would recommend this to those who can find a good deal on a used Aztek but please set aside a budget for repairs

Because of reliability and new from factory defects, only purchase certified used with low mileage and an excellent service record.
