Excellent VCR for getting the best picture out of your VHS tapes. But it is expensive, so you have to decide if the extra money is worth the better picture

Only had it a few weeks... Area had a short power outage, after that unit had no power. Other brands in house worked fine . . .

Although the Panasonic is a fine unit, it may make more sense to go straight to the source and buy a JVC.
