Pros: Gets clothing extra clean, quiet operation, conserves water, looks sleek, stackable Cons: Needs special detergent, squeaks when stacked, expensive
Summary: It began with a tragedy. After less than eight years of mediocre to good service, my top of the line GE Profile top loading washing machine gave up the ghost, dying quietly with a tub full of cold, soapy water and dripping sweatpants. After I closed ... read more

Pros: super energy efficient, makes clothes super clean... Cons: some vibration, long wash times
Summary: One thing I really love about this washer is that it is fun to watch and fun to listen to some of the noises it makes. Forexample when it enters the high spin cycle it sounds like an turbine whirring up to speed and it just sounds cool. The pluses ... read more

Pros: It fits a ton of laundry in, when it works. Cons: There is no warm rinse, only a cold rinse. F11 error all the time now.
