Pros: Price, playability, forgiveness in the 6-pw irons. Good driver, great fairway woods.
Cons: Putter is inconsistent. Woods are small for today's standards.
I found this clubs used a couple of years ago for $200 and did not regret the buy. I have now outgrown the clubs, but I must say they are really forgiving for the design and distance they provide. The Wilson grip and true temper shaft are very consistent, and their weight feels just right.
The irons are easy to use, although the 3 and 4 can be sometimes difficult to hit. The driver and the fairway woods are incredibly well balanced for the price, and are definitely worth considering for beginner golfers.
I don't know about their built, but what they call shock-trap seems to be similar to later 'cavity' models that provide forgiveness in game improvement sets.
