Pros: Nice Program Software Included Cons: it doesnt like AMD motherboard & Windows Second Edition
Initially, I purchased this Product because of the Name Recognition and the Price Point....along with a $10 rebate at the time I purchased it. This was to be my FIRST USB connection on my upgraded computer, and even though I followed the Installation...

Pros: Does its functions Cons: Low graphic quality, need sufficient light to work!
IBM PC Camera is performance for your money. A price tag of $29 will give all you bargain hunters a rest, however, for those hard, ardent webcam users; this is not enough.
Hard-rock users should consider the Intel PC Camera for its better...

Pros: Decent Price Cons: Poor images compared to competing webcams!
I actually bought two webcams the day I picked up the IBM PC Camera Pro. The store had a good return policy so the IBM and a Philips Vesta Pro went home with me. After some testing it looks like the IBM is going back to the store!
The...

Pros: USB, cheap Cons: functions, controls, program
Yippie! I got a camera! It was only $60! Friends, I was young and stupid. I had saved my money all my life. I was now in college and this product had just come out and boy was it cheap! (Xirlink/IBM PC Cameras have been out for quite sometime.) I...

Pros: Price Cons: Quality, Software and Everything else
I can’t believe IBM slip this badly! I had been looking for a second PC camera for a while. Among many choices, the IBM PC Camera was reasonably priced with comparable features. Since I am a die-hard IBM fun, I decided to go with it. Then the horror...

Pros: Easy to set up and use Cons: Lousy picture, color, light compensation
I bought this sucker to talk to my friends and/or relatives with pictures, I haven't decided if I want to do this over the internet or straight telephone. I was going to give one to my cousin, and bought an Intel (with video capture) for myself. When he...

Pros: None Cons: Unusable for video-conferencing
I can second the experiences others have had with this camera - you get what you pay for. The camera has horrible performance (5 fps or so) under anything other than full bright light, and even then any lighter areas (such as you face) will become...

Pros: Inexpensive.
Looks good in both brite and low light.
Cons: So So software package.
I've had my IBM PC Cam for about 6mos now and I have enjoyed it. There are much better(and more expensive)cams out there but if your on a budget this one does the job. I get good quality video as long as there is a good light source and compared to the...

Pros: Works ok Cons: Doesn't do what the box says it can do
The side of the box leads one to expect that this camera can do 640x480 video at up to 30 fps, but don't be tricked. A closer look (which you'll do after taking it home and being VERY disapointed) shows that the exact wording is:
"VGA(640...

Pros: Cheap, Easy to install Cons: Poor framerate, Poor Quality
Let me start out straight out: this camera was an impulse buy on my part, and I will never do that again! I thought, $30 for a webcam!? How can you go wrong? Well, I did. It really is true, "you get what you pay for."
This camera is meant for...

Pros: Easy to use. Cons: Difficult installation if you ever change operating systems. Not very good software.
I've had my IBM PC Camera for almost 2 years now. It's a pretty durable piece of equipment. I have moved several times, and have dropped it even more times (I don't like putting sticky stuff on my monitor, so it falls) and it keeps on ticking.

Pros: The size Cons: nothing
Come on everyone knows that you can always trust the IBM company. They have been into making computer gadgets for now twenty long long looooong years. Ofcourse they know what they are doing. This camera looks slick and would sit right on top of your...

Pros: cheap, easy to use Cons: limited options, not the best quality
The only reason I got this camera was because it was free after rebate, so I can't really complain. But it did help me with some e-selling on eBay. Since I don't own a digicam, I used this to take pictures of products I was selling and, well, it did it's...

Pros: Optics, resolution, size Cons: none
I was astonished when I first got this camera. It has excellent resolution compared to other cameras of the same price. As soon as I got this one home I knew what to do thanks to the exact directions that are also very easy to follow by and are...

Pros: Quick easy setup Cons: grainy pictures
I recently received a set of two of these PC Camera's. One will be sent to my mother, and we are keeping one. Installation was extremly easy. I, as usual, didn't read the instructions, just went straight to the install. Well, IBM seems to anticipate...
