Pros: works great - just as advertised Cons: must use with extreme caution (contains acid)
Summary: Im one of those people who love PVC outdoor furniture. The day my husband brought home our first two pieces, I thought, Wow! This is going to be so easy to clean. Boy, was I wrong!!
PVC furniture can be a royal pain. Yes, it ... read more

Pros: Can get some things cleaner than some common household products. Cons: Does not restore to "like new" condition as the commercials make you believe.
Summary: Some products sell themselves. Others need infomercials. Had I seen this product in a standard commercial, I might have considered it, had I found it on a supermarket shelf. If it were sitting next to a $3.50 cleaner, I might not have thought too much ... read more

Pros: Powerful in that it cleans with acid. Cons: The fumes are horrible. I would recommend only for use in well ventilated areas.
Summary: I bought a bottle of Zap and used it on my bathroom. It did nothing for restoring old grout. On the tub, it removed shower scum in the tub and made it kind of slippery. After a day or so, I developed a leak in the plumbing from the tub. A coincidence? ... read more

Pros: You don't have to put a lot of elbow grease into cleaning your bathroom. Cons: Strong odor.
Summary: Zap lives up to it's advertising on television. All you have to do is spray it on, let it set for a minute or so, and scrub it off with the scrubbing pads that comes with the pump bottle. And when I say scrub, very little scrubbing had to be done to ... read more

Pros: Amazing! Our bathroom tile looks new! Cons: The "newness" only lasts for about one month; the smell is overpowering!
Summary: This is an incredible product - I know I will sound like an infomercial, but it is true! Zap works wonders on tile, espeically grout and bathroom floors. You have to let the Zap soak in for a while scrub the tile pretty good, but the results are amazing. ... read more

Pros: Whitens porcelain when nothing else works Cons: Not as good on grout, strong fumes
Summary: Zap works. And I'm a tough sell.
We moved into a house with a 50+ year old porcelain bathtub about two years ago. The tub was stained so badly that we were embarrassed to use it as a guest bath. In addition, previous occupants had tried to ... read more

Pros: works like a charm, not too expensive, easy to use, smells ok Cons: none - smell can be strong

Pros: Works very well. Cons: Not much.
Summary: Have you ever cleaned a bathroom using those sissy supermarket cleaners? They don't work! Or if they do work it requires lots of hard scrubbing and it takes forever.
My wife and I have seen all those ads on TV for "Restore 4" and wanted to ... read more

Pros: Works well on hard water, and performs nearly as well as it does on television. Cons: Bottle doesnt go as far as I would have liked.
Summary: While waiting for a prescription to be filled at Walgreen's yesterday, I looked around the store and came upon the aisle that carries all of the stuff that they sell on television. To my shock and surprise I found a box of ZAP! that had 4 different ... read more

Pros: Removed old, heavy hard water and rust stains Cons: Needed to use most of the bottle
Summary: After moving into our house, we noticed how bad our shower looked. Because I have two small children who take baths, this problem needed immediate attention.
I tried whatever I could get my hands on. First I soaked everything in bleach over ... read more

Pros: Cleans, will lessen stains. Cons: Will not Restore heavily stained items to a "like new" condition.
Summary: You have probably seen the comercials for Zap.
The ones where the host shows us how we can take an old, filthy sink and by using Zap restore it to nearly new condition… Thus saving hundreds of dollars. Or how the same product can be used to ... read more

Pros: Works better than ANYTHING I've ever tried. Cons: Expensive; less product than your average cleaner in one bottle; it is pretty stinky.
Summary: I swear, I could be ZAP's spokesperson. When it comes to cleaning a bathtub/shower, in my opinion, this is the best. Years back (2000), I moved into a rental apartment. The bathtub was stained, but I thought I'd be able to clean it well enough. At

Pros: Works great and restores scratched up, dull hardwood floors Cons: none so far...actually smells nice (almond)
Summary: My hardwood floors looked dull, scrathced up and had so many demarkations (due to placement of furniture, sun) that we thought that before we sell our house we will have the bedroom's floor professionally refinished which would have been around $1500...
