All I can say is wow! I had heard of Zenni Optical from someone at work who had a good experience, so I decided to give them a try because I can just no longer afford to buy glasses from Lenscrafters but would still like the option of switching contacts and glasses. I checked out the website and even though the selection isn't enormous, there is definitely something for everyone. I ordered January 25, and my glasses (all 3 pair) arrived February 3. That is pretty fast service. Everything is way better than I even expected, and the lenses are better than any that I paid more than 180 dollars for. I will definitely be returning to Zenni in the future. At prices this low, I'm going to be buying a new pair every couple of months to use as accessories. I would definitely recommend getting the AR coating, because at 4.95, it's worth it. Overall, I couldn't be happier!

I have ordered 1 pair of glasses to test the company and they send me my glasses less my clip-ons. I emailed the company and a week later received my clip-ons. Excellent! I bought the el-cheapo pair for $19+ plus $5 for anti-glare and the glasses were fantastic. They arrived very quickly (I think, in about a week). I'm ordering another pair as soon as I finish writing this. I have a large head and the glasses fit perfectly. Glad I found this sight. I previously ordered a pair from 39dollarglasses and they were great too, but more expensive.

these are better than glasses I've gotten through VSP!!! Great Price and Better Quality. The only REAL problem was the Delivery Time. It was way too slow! However, for the price, the Overall experience was GREAT!!!

I purchased hingeless rimless titanium frames (in silver) with anti-reflective coating and 1.67 index lenses. I received my glasses in ten business days, and I’m very happy with the results. I can’t tell the different between these glasses and others that I’ve purchased from brink and mortar stores, except the price, of course.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Glasses arrived and were wrong size. No big deal, we sent them back, explained the problem and reordered. Nothing happened, so I called. Explained problem and was hung up. I called back, hoping to get a reasonable person this time but was then spoken to rudely.
They still have my money, I still dont have glasses.

I am an avid listener of Clark Howard and went to his web site. His tips are always right on. I am a contact lens wearer who had been avoiding getting a pair of regular glasses, but I was now at a crossroad that I would have to break down and spend the money for a pair of glasses. I ordered a pair, I spent only 12 and change to test the water. Well I got my glasses quickly and I was more than satisfied. In fact I brought them to work and several of my coworkers have ordered and been as satisfied with the purchase as I was. You even can order from the trendy looks for little outlay of cash. Many years ago I had an acquaintance that worked for an eye doctor, and I remember her saying that at that time there was a 400% mark up on glasses. Based on my experience with Zenni optical, this statement came back to me. So I would not hesitate to recommend the company to those who have other places to spend their hard earned cash.

I had an excellent experience with this company. I read a few online reviews before ordering form them and some people seemed to have problems, but I, personally, would highly recommend them. I have an extra high prescription and they did my lenses for only $9 extra, other places (including the 39dollarglasses place) say they can't do my lenses or want to charge me tons extra for them. But Zenni had no problem, the glasses are lightweight and comfortable (and I have a big head, but they look and fit great), and the lenses are perfect. I got two pair for less than the half of the cost of one pair at other places, I'll be ordering a lot from them in the future. (Also I had typed my prescription in wrong online and within an hour a very nice person from Zenni called to question my mistake and corrected what I had done wrong).

I just got my two pairs of eyes glasses from Zenni Optical and guess what, they are perfect. Perfect, I mean a perfect. I am more than just happy. The frame and the glass were both at the tight fit with the add-on features on the glass such as tint, reflective coating and on and on.
For the price of Zenni opticals I would say 100 percent of eye glass buyer should go for it. Neither the frame are cheap nor the glasses. Both can compete with any pair of sun glasses that you buy in any optical store in mall or in doctor office.
Guys, low price does not mean cheap product. Its a marketing strategy and economy of scale in making profit. Sell more to earn more is what I think zenni is doing.
Anyway, enjoy zenni glasses. I am damn happy with them.

We have bought a dozen or so pair of glasses from Zenni Optical and been pleased but that has changed. A pair I ordered in mid August came in fine but just 'snapped' at the nose bridge about a week into wearing them. They were titanium.
To make a long story short it is late November and I am still waiting for my 'repaired' glasses. The person that answers the phone was very rude. I will not buy from them again.

I ordered my glasses under two weeks ago and they got here EARLY! Super quality. I ordered a pair of the memory titanium frames and prescription lenses. They don't feel or look cheap and I got them for under $30 with shipping and clip on polarized sunshades. Customer service is lacking. I emailed a question and never got a response.I then sent a fax with a question and received a response within 10 minutes. Thought that was a little odd. I would recommend them to anyone who feels comfortable making purchases online and this not being their first.

I ordered two pair of glasses from Zenni Optical 33 days ago.  They had the wrong prescription and I mailed them back.  I called after two weeks and was told their system was down but they would send me an email on the status.  Never happened.  Sent them an email and still no response.  Called twice but not one picks up and then there is a message to leave a message but you can not, because the mail box is full.  Very frustrating .  Very poor customer support.   All I am trying to do now is get my money back.  This is a real same because there were so many good reviews about this company.

Zenni Optical is not worth doing business with. Extremely slow service, will not return phone calls or E mails, and you can't get through to talk to anyone. BB has them on the bad list and it's easy to understand why. One month and I'm still waiting for my order.

I ordered my boyfriend's glasses from Zenni last week. It took them a week to make the glasses and them to arrive in our mail box. The glasses that WOULD have cost $210 even at Sam's Club, ended up costing us $33. He loves his glasses, and they look great! Now I want to order a pair. Our ONLY complaint (And it's not even that major) is that the clip on sunglasses they sent are too heavy for his glasses and are very uncomfortable. However, for as cheap as his glasses were, we're just going to order a 2nd pair that's tinted. He said his prescription was great, and we're very much satisfied!

I was very impressed w/ Zenni Optical! I ordered semi-rimless, big headed eyeglasses w/ anti-reflective coating. I paid $28 including S&H. I was worried that my glasses were not going to come, but I thought the worse that could happen is I would lose $28, which is nothing for glasses. The glasses arrived within a week and a half. The eyeglasses were very sturdy, good quality frames w/ thin lenses. I didn't buy the hi-index lenses, but my lenses were very thin. I usually have to pay an extra $85 for the same thin lenses at Walmart. I ordered glasses from $39 dollar glasses and the quality wasn't as good as Zenni and I paid 3X the amount. I suggest you buy the cheap ones first and see how they are before you order the more expensive ones.

I just received my fifth pair of eyeglasses from Zenni Optical.  I cannot say enough good things about this business.  The glasses all arrived within two weeks, and every pair has been high quality.  The lenses have been made exactly to my specifications, and the prescription has been correct 100 percent of the time. 

I love the selection of frames!  I can actually afford to have several pairs of glasses at once.  I purchased one pair that needed adjustment, so I took them to the eyeglass chain store at the mall.  The technician knew that I hadn't purchased the frame from them because of the design, so after he adjusted them, he asked me where I got them.  He commented on the high quality of the lenses and frames.

I heard good things about this company on the Howard Clark radio show. I had reservations about ordering glasses online, but for the price I thought I would give it a try. The set I ordered came to $77.00 with the options I wanted. I received them within 2 weeks, put them on and have been very pleased with the quality and fit. I would highly recommend Kenni.

Amazingly quality product given the prices. We were very skeptical especially since buying for our five year-old's first pair of glasses. But for the price, we decided to give it a try. We got the glasses in the promised 2 weeks (of course it felt like forever for our little girl). When we got it, we treated it as suspect and took them into our pediatric optometrist. We were pleasantly surprised when the put the glasses on the scope (for lack of knowledge) to find that they were fine. We were concerned with the PD (pupilary distance... distance between the pupils) since we had to measure ourselves but that turned out fine since both eyes were symmetrical relative to the center-line of her nose (something to watch out for we were told).

I know Zenni makes its glasses in China and ships them to that California address, so I figured it would take awhile to get them. But the first pair I ordered showed up in my Illinois mailbox in exactly 2 weeks. I was so happy with the glasses, I ordered another (nicer) pair a week later. This pair was at my door in 6 days. I'm definitely a satisfied customer. My only caveats: I don't know how good their customer service is, as both my orders went smoothly and I didn't need to call or email them. Secondly, I already knew the glasses style/size that's best for me - if you're not sure, I think you're better off using a local optician. I have found that only a couple mm difference in lens size can completely change how well a pair of glasses fits my face.

Amazing quality rimless glasses. I ordered the 5501 Rimless Stainless Steel frames with 1.67 HI lenses. They arrived 17 days after I ordered them, just two days after I received the email with tracking information. I would definitely recommend Zenni for low priced specs.

I've had a total of 28 pairs come from zenni, this is from my immediate family and a sister-in-law. We've had no problems, except one pair of memory titanium that broke, i ordered a replacement frame for 1/2 price the cost(7 or 8 bucks) they provided the screwdriver to change the lenses. I'm nothing but happy. No more glasses from the eye doctor.

Ordered 3 pairs for just over 30 dollars. One pair is excellent, the other pair is average, and the other one is a liiiitle off but still very much usable. Overall, it was a great experience. It took just 7 days for me to receive my order. It also included 3 blue cases as well as 3 cleaning cloths. It's a great value, especially for me because I don't wear glasses constantly. If I had gone to my eye doctor to get these glasses, I would have had to pay at least 500 dollars. 500 dollars compared to 30 is.. well, amazing. Make sure you properly measure your pupilary distance, though. As I mentioned, I wear contacts all the time, except about once a week and right before sleep I wear glasses, and these glasses are great for me (value, and quality is fine as well, service was good too. :o).

I just received my Zenni glasses today 7/28/08. I ordered a pair of rimless no line progressives with anti glare on 7/10/08 which cost(including shippping) $57.00. These glasses are perfect! No adjustments necessary. I will never, repeat, never be cheated/ripped off by another "vision store" again. I found their customer service better than adequate. I made an error with the vision numbers and made a second mistake by hitting the back button and ordered the glasses twice. Immediately I received an email from Zenni's customer service taking care of both errors before the order was processed. I have ordered another pair of glasses as a back up pair. Now where can anyone get two pair of glasses for $114.00?

Back again three years later with a new prescription and ordered two pair, one clear and one sun tinted. The prices are still great; and Customer Service was very helpful with a replacement when I developed a problem with one on the pair.
Nowhere at any local chain store can you get rimless frames with progressive (no-line) multi-focal lenses for well under $100US

I received my eyeglasses today, 19 days after ordering them. I am extremely pleased with them. I paid extra for the extra strength, thin lenses and let me tell you it was definitely worth it. I was quoted over 400 dollars by my optician, and paid 78 dollars with Zenni Optical. They now have a customer for life!!!!

I had read many reviews regarding this company and felt it was a safe bet to order. I told even friends as it seemed things we going smooth. Unfortunately I was wrong, It has been a over a month and after several calls they say there are problems in China and there working on it. They have lied to me several times and said they were on the way (as in shipped to me express). I am so very disappointed I thought I had done my due-diligence and look like a fool. Finlay asked for a refund and said I was only getting 50% back period. I mad a big mistake don't believe the hype.

I purchased my first pair in late January, and received them in about two weeks. I was pleasantly surprised. They were very stylish and I actually don't mind being seen in them. I lost a lens in my old pair over a year ago, and it is so nice to have some glasses that I can put on instead of having to put in my contacts all the time. When I enquired to Lenscrafter about replacing the lens, the price was outrageous - $300 without a new frame. Given I needed high index lens and a few other upgrades my cost was $58 at Zenni. What a deal!! I am happier with these that I was the pair that came from a Lenscrafter. At least I know that I can get a replacement pair without breaking the bank. I haven't had to deal with customer service, so cannot comment on that.

I recently purchased eyeglasses through Zenni Optical and I had a wonderful experience. The website is easy to navigate and they have some really cool, trendy frames. Usually when you go for the less expensive frames at other places like LensCrafters or Pearl, your selection is limited to the crappiest looking, out-of-style frames. Most importantly though I received my order promptly and it was exactly what I ordered. I love my new frames and they are much higher quality than I expected! They even throw in hard lens cases and cleaning cloths, how swell is THAT? I think I'm going to buy eyeglasses to match my outfits from Zenni since they have so many designs and colors and they're so inexpensive!

I am very happy with the Zenni quality. Like someone else said, as good as any I've ever bought and I've been buying eye glasses for almost 30 years. The fit and finish of the lenses is actually better than my last pair of glasses that I bought from Target for almost $200 (I'll never buy from Target again - poor quality and would not address my problem). Unfortunately, the $3.95 clip on is not a replacement for a good pair of magnetic clip on glasses. I really wish they had a better selection of clip on style glasses. Having had magnetic clip-ons, it is really hard to go back to the "old school" style of glasses. The Zenni clip-on is slightly larger than the eyeglasses and slides over the top using two bobby pin style connectors to hold it onto the lenses. I'm afraid that it will scratch the lenses with repeated use and should only be used on occasion. I'll try to post a picture later.

I was skeptical buying progressives online but I took the chance and am I glad I did! The glasses are of high quality and are perfect. The price makes the choice a no brainer.

On February 5th I ordered two pair of glasses and as of March 5th I still have not received my order. I called to inquire as to the status of my order on February 18th and was told that it should be shipped the following Tuesday: didn't happen. I called again on the 28th and was told that it would be shipped that day. It's March 5th and still no glasses and no real answers.

Update: I received my order on March 8th. I'm completely satisfied with the glasses that I received. My glasses came exactly the way that I ordered them and are better quality than I expected for the price. I will certainly order from them again. If you do use these guys make sure that don't need your glasses immediately.

My order arrived earlier than expected, and the glasses work perfectly and the frames are awesome. $50 for nice frames, bifocal anti-scratch and anti-glare glasses is such a great deal. I will use them again!

I ordered the 19.95 el cheapos and was surprised at the quality. Very nice glasses and unbeatable for the price. It took about 2 weeks for delivery. However I also ordered sunglasses (clip ons) to go with the glasses. Those never came, and after several e-mails and one long distance call, they still have not arrived (2 months later). So, in short after 2 months I still have not received what I paid for.

I ordered a pair of -1D prescription titanium glasses. After 1 month waiting and several mails not replied, I received a pair of glasses, well constructed, but in plastic and with a -5 or -7 prescription!!! I was unable to put on this glasses, I couldn't see through them. After several e-mails and months, at last I received one mail, offering me to send a new pair of glasses for more money. I wanted my money back, because I didn't want another pair of useless glasses with random prescription and more money spent. I never got another mail from them. Instead I get a lot of junk mail in my main mail (viagra, steroids, etc)every day :-( I don't recommend this shop at all.

Having been quoted around $700 (AUS) for a pair of rimless glasses, I began searching the internet.

I came across Zenni, perused the site, thought about it, went back into the website, thought about it some more, and then decided to order. At worst I lost $100 (Aus), at best I gained two pairs of glasses.

As I live in Australia, I used a money order. I did get concerned after almost two months but they did arrive finally.

Look, I have nothing but good things to say about the product. You get what you pay for. I now have two pairs of inexpensive rimless glasses. The memory titanium pair are more robust than the memory plastic which I am not sure will last all that long - although they are my favourite.

As with a number of other reviewers, I have to agree the customer support is virtually non-existent. Half the time they did not even respond to my emails.

All in all, I would recommend this mob. Just don't order in emergency situations as you are likely to be waiting a while. Be organised!

I'm on my 5th order with Zenni Optical. My experience has been very positive with them. Glasses arrive in a plastic case with a lent-free cloth and in about 2 or 3 weeks. This is reasonable in my opinion, for the cost of the glasses. I'm averaging about $30/pair and the quality of these are very good. The variety and selection is large.

If you think about it, the risk of this purchase is very low when comparing a $25 pair v. a $250 pair. I assure you that once you try the first pair you will not consider any other source.

My first order from Zenni took more than a month to receive , but I liked the quality. So I would not complain.  Zenni eyeglasses are better than my other eyeglasses which cost me more than $300 at the retail store. With Zenni it was only about $23.00.
My second order was faster. I order 2 pairs.  It took only 16days to arrive. I checked my trancking number, it took only 3 days from Hong Kong post office to get to East Coast where I live. Not only I like their products themselves, but also delivery speed got faster. And of course, prices are unbeatable. I was never been able to afford priscription sunglasses before.  Withe Zenni price, I can afford many pairs. Now I can wear different eyeglasses everyday to match my outfit of the day. I am going to buy a pair to my mother. I am so confident that she is going to love them too. Thanks Zenni.

I was originally very pleased with Zenni. So pleased that I ordered glasses for my Dad (I believe in Aug or Sept of 2005). His glasses broke a couple weeks after he got them. I called Zenni and was told they would send a new nose piece out. I have called about 6 times over the past 8 months and not gotten a replacement. I again called in May and was told they were waiting for the frame to come in. I called June 20,2006 and left a message on there voice mail that if I didn't get a call back and a new frame I would trash them on the internet. I got a call today. Instead of taking responsibilty she told me that I was at least as culpable as they were for letting this go on so long and then asked what I wanted and hung up. I told her I wanted a new frame. I find it so hard to believe that she could try to deflect the cause of the problem on to me. Buy from them at your own risk!

I have never bought glasses online before...BUT I surely will again, from Zenni Optical!!!

I broke my glasses...I went to Sears Optical and they wanted $450 dollars for rimless glasses like what I had...Luckily I had a back-up pair that I had never worn...

I ordered 3 pair of prescription glasses...-5.25 is part of my prescription...2 pair of rimless clear with the clip-on sunshades, and 1 pair of aluminum full rim with sun-shade build into the lense...

I ordered them and got them in right around two weeks...

I got them today...They are GREAT...They are "No Name" brand but they are perfect...Nice and clear...No scratches, etc...

I paid $96 shipped to my door...

I will say to make sure you understand the measurements of the frames...This can be a little tricky...YOU must measure the glasses you have in mm and order some relative to that size...Frame width, Bridge, Temple length, and maybe the lens width and heighth if you are looking at a rimless frame...

I understood the measurements...And the glasses are GREAT and well worth the money...The KEY is the measurements...

I ordered glasses from Zenni Optical on March 24th 2005 and I have not received them yet.(May 21st) I have e-mailed them, with no response. I have also called them 4 times and they keep telling me they will be sent the next week. I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. I asked when the refund will be given and was told 48 hours, but after reading the reviews I suppose I will never see the refund.

Pathetic! I ordered glasses with Photochromic (Transition) and Progressive. Yes, it was a year ago but I was not familiar with Trinsition type glasses and thought they were right...but they seemed dark all the time. It has been a difficult year with them. I had my annual exam today and was told that the glasses are not transition type..they are only tinted. I PAID Zenni Optical FOR Photocromic. I called Zenni, they verified I did purchase Photocromic, and I was told that there is a 30 day adjustment policy so I am too late.
 can understand that, BUT I can NOT understand they charging me for something and not giving it to me. They need to deliver what is ordered and paid for, not less. I referred 8 others and they bought from Zenni Optical, and I know they will not buy again after I tell them about this. And, Clark Howard needs, and will, know about this rip-off.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - BUYER BEWARE! When ordered frame for glasses, we were shipped the incorrect item. On the phone we were told that they'd get the correct frame to us, but they needed to charge our credit card twice. This was OK, since the customer service part-timer re-assured us a prompt refund would be issued when the original mistake was returned. But many weeks later, no new frame, all the while they still had charged us! In attempting to resolve the issue, the agent said a new frame would be ordered from CHINA and it was our fault for not following up sooner. Finally the manager hung up on us while trying to get our money back for the returned pair. UNBELIEVABLE!!

Save your time and frustration by going to CostCo or somewhere local. You won't regret it if something goes wrong with your order.

I ordered my four pair of glasses on 7/14 and they were delivered on 8/1!! Two weeks just like they said. Glasses are exactly as described if not better! I love the fact that I got to use my vision allowance for not just one pair with out of pocket expenses but four pair with money left over for more if wanted. Figure if I have to wear them I am going to make them be my accessories! Great service and communication! Thanks!

I just got my glasses and it took about a week and a half to get them. I have to say for $20 bucks you can't go wrong with just trying a pair. Well I'm very satisfied and so I ordered a pair for my Dad and my Sister in Law ordered 2 pair as well! I just purchased a pair of designer frames in Aug '07 for $397.00 and these are just as good but better because of the COST SAVINGS!!! I will spread the word, just do me a favor and start updating the site more with funkier looking frames and colors!

Okay, this place is great. I placed an order for two regular pair of glasses, and one pair of prescription sunglasses. The total, with $5.00 for shipping was $45.00. They give a timeframe of two weeks for regular glasses and about three for tinted lenses, and I received mine in a little over two weeks.
Everything arrived in a padded envelope (that was nearly impossible to open) and each of the glasses were in hard plastic case. The best part--all of the glasses were absolutely perfect and exactly what I ordered. They fit great, and they were the right prescription. Wow.

This is my fourth pair of Zenni Optical prescription glasses. At these prices I can afford to have several pairs of prescription glasses. Prescription sunglasses, regular bifocals, regular, and now, since my experience has been so good I spent the slightly less than $100 to get the top-of-the prescription line. Since I have read some complaints about frame quality I include frame type since this is my 4th pair and they seem to be very good quality.

Since I have also read some complaints about spotty service, I include this last experience: They held up my order and contacted me by email to make sure I had not made a prescription error.

They say it takes about 2-3 weeks to fill and that has been my experience.

Am I rough with them? not really, but I do play golf and tennis.

Just wanted to let everyone know how rude and bad there customer service department is from a standard representive to a supervisor.  I ordered a pair of glasses from them on October 20, 2008 and have not received by order.  I have called there and was informed that the FDA made them hold all glasses.  Sometime last week i called and was told that they received the okay to send them out and they were going to have someone come in on Saturday to start processing the 4000 glasses.  When i called today and spoke to the supervisior she was so rude and told me that i was lying that nobody never informed me of that.  I asked to get a full refund due to the fact of the headaches this has caused and due to the fact that i never received the glasses she informed me only 50%.  I give this place a VERY VERY BAD REVIEW.

I have to agree with the negative comments I have read. They are absolutely undiluted comments and clear as to what you can expect. I ordered 2 pair of glasses. One pair recieved was put together so sloppy that the screws were crooked and stripped causing the lens to fall out. The second pair is not usable because the prescription is not accurate. Mind you, you are sent glasses that are not fitted to your face or nose especially so they must be taken to an optometrist for adjustment so they stay on. You cannot get a refund of 100% no matter what the problem is. You cannot cancel an order either. I would not be surprised if children and slave labor was used as well.
These glasses are made in China then shipped to California for forwarding to you. None of the frames are brand name, only copies of popular styles. By the time you finish paying the extra charges, you can easily find other sites where US makers are guaranteeing the refund and fit of the glasses and frames.

I bought 6 pairs of glasses from them.  The motorcycle goggles were dangerous to wear.  The prescription seemed way off.  I sent them back.  Called numerous times and always got a recording.  It took them more then a month to tell me that the curvature was wrong for my prescription....they said so sorry, my problem, not theirs.

Their progressive lenses are the old style, told to me by my eye doctor.  Don't waste your money.  I will never use them again. 

I ordered the rimless silver titanium frames and received it in one week. I am very happy with my new glasses, and it only cost me $50! They are really light and much better than the rimless plastic frames I had before that cost $130 even after insurance coverage. The "polarized sunglasses clip-on" seems ghetto, but maybe it'd come in handy at some point. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was despite all the negative reviews and unsatisfactory rating at BBB.

Months have passed. Mistakes by Zenni Optical are the reason. Everything seemed OK but that all changed as soon as their mistakes were called to their attention. Went from OK to monstrous. Read their "guarantee" VERY carefully. You will see the customer pays EVERY TIME. It's just a matter of how much. Now what kind of guarantee is that except that you will be cheated out of some amount even when Zenni Optical is entirely at fault? Customer service is horrible, horrible, horrible. Constant denials and delays and bogus excuses benefit them - after all, they have your money. That could not happen unless that was S.O.P. for Zenni Optical. Everything a company should NOT be. Really sad. Not worth it. Decide for yourself.

I order a pair of glasses for my 4 years kid. Because instead of $200 they will cost $78 for his frame and lenses. But today is more than a month and I didn't receive anything. I'm still waiting. I called this morning and they supposed to be shipped. I didn't recommend for EXTRA-strength prescription. They didn't have the lenses that I need and if I didn't call or e-mail a lot of times today I'm supposed to be waiting without an excuse.

Purchased a pair of rimless glasses for $18 and I'm happy with them. I didn't have to deal with the customer service (I read some complaints about them).
I believe that if you don't make mistakes placing your order, everything is going to be ok. Be sure you measure your PD and pick a frame that fits your face.

DO NOT order progressives from these people. They do not account for segment height, which caused my prescription to start way too low in the lenses, and "fall off" the bottom of the lenses. Completely unusable. If I tip my head way back, I can see my computer screen, but I cannot see at all to read (my head only tips back just so far). I contacted Zenni after having my lenses checked by my optometrist, they gave me the required segment height measurements to allow me to see, but Zenni says they "don't do custom segment height for lined bi-focal or progressive glasses". So, basically, it tough nuts for me and any other person out there whose eye-to-frame height is not perfectly normal. Stupid me, I ordered two sets...so I'm out double the amount if I had only ordered one. Sure, they'll refund 50% of the purchase price (minus shipping & handling, of course), but I'm still out almost $100!

DO NOT use. My prescription was botched - I took the glasses to Walmart Vision to verify the prescription, and Zenni Optical over corrected by -.5, enough to give me a headache.
They do not refund or accept returns - BEWARE - even though you enter your prescription correctly, does not mean that they will fill it properly. It cost me $100 to get new lenses at Walmart Vision.

I recently ordered two pair of eye glasses.
I NEVER received my order.
Upon calling Zenni Optical three times, I was told by some girl that she was on another line and would have to call me back...SHE NEVER DID!
When I finally got thru, I was told by the same girl that they shipped my order and if I did not receive my order, then it was the post office's fault...end of conversation!
So I lost my money and NEVER received my eye glasses!

I liked everything I had read about Zenni until one month after placing my order. To date, I have not recieved my glasses, and have never successfully gotten through to customer service. After several threatening E mails, I was told that my order is "held up in customs". I have since learned that there are 14 complaints at the BBB and I doubt I willl ever get the glasses I have waited for.

I placed an order with LBI and was sent a confirmation for shipping. Why can't Zenni come through for me as thaey have so many others?

After hearing about Zenni Optical from a friend of my husband's, I decided to order a few pairs of glasses from them. I selected several of their funkier frames, entered my prescription and pupillary distance, and typed in my credit card number. I paid less than $45 for three pairs of single vision glasses! I was afraid it was too good to be true, but I was hopeful.

I ordered just eight days ago, and now I have three great new pairs of glasses. The prescription is perfect, the frames are just as described, and I am newly in love with Zenni Optical! I can't wait to order some for my husband perhaps a pair or two more for me.

I ordered 2 pair with different frames and received them after 3 weeks. 1 pair was perfect and very happy with them,although sunglass clip-on is poor quality.

2nd pair lens height was 31mm should have been 34mm, customer support said that was not enough to make a difference and they could not do anything about it. Looked nothing like picture. It makes a huge difference. Magnetic sunglass clip-on very poor quality.

I had the lens checked and they were the correct prescription.

I can buy 5 or more pair for what 1 pair would cost locally, so I will order from Zenni again.

I have ordered twice from Zenni Optical.

1.  Ordered two pair of bifocals, one pair of rimless memory titanium and another pair of metal frame.  Both pair were and remain excellent and the price was very good.  Delivery took three weeks.

2.  Recently ordered two pair of bifocals, one rimless titanium and another metal rimless.  Thirty days after the order date, I called Zenni Optical and was able to speak with a representative after only a few tries.  The representative was polite and efficient.  I received an email two days later, saying my glasses would be shipped to California the following week and I would get a tracking email after that.  No, the order is still pending after five weeks.

Bottom line:  when your oder works with Zenni, everything is fine, but when it goes wrong, it can go very wrong indeed.  If you feel lucky, go ahead and order; if not, look elsewhere.  It may be worth the extra dollars to have a better result.

Extremely BAD customer service. Major delays in delivery. Unresponsive on status requests. Highly inadequate online e-commerce system. Lab is in China so that complicated getting status of delayed order. Same customer service person every time I called. Frankly, she was a JERK. She told me to stop emailing them, then she hung up on me when I told her I was having trouble getting them to respond to me. She alone will be the death of what otherwise could be a good company. They should fire her and hire a real customer service staff. Once glasses arrived, quality was good. Hopefully, the other two pair that I've ordered will arrive in my lifetime. I will NEVER use them again despite the price and decent quality of the glasses.

My wife and I ordered a number of pairs of glasses from Zenni. They took on average about two and a half weeks to arrive (we are on the east coast and Zenni is in California). Still, we are EXTREMELY pleased with the product. Zenni did an excellent, extremely accurate job cutting the lenses - my lenses are rather thick, making this somewhat tricky, and my wife's last pair of full-retail-price lenses were just botched. The frames are, as far as I can tell, every bit as good quality as something you'll pay ten to twenty times for at your local boutique. Pay close attention to the dimensions of the frames, though... I ordered 1 or 2 pairs that ended up being much larger than I envisioned them! Overall, given the variety of frames & lenses we ordered, I have a good sense of the quality of the product. I'd have to say that my experience with Zenni is a very clear A+. I will absolutely re-order from them, and I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

This was one of the worst online shopping experiences I've had. The prices were great, but the "facts" (sizes, shapes, details) were very lacking. I called the company more than once and was afforded poor customer service. I still placed an order, which I ultimately received ("ultimately" because it took quite a while to receive my order), but the shaded clip-on piece which I paid for was missing. I contacted Zenni, with no response. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB, since Zenni was unresponsive. The BBB sent me their results, which stated that Zenni had failed to respond to their query. The end result was that I paid for something I never received, Zenni provided NO customer service, and the BBB placed them in a negative "column." Unless things have changed recently, I would recommend that no one order anything from them.

I bought 8 pairs of glasses for my family, 2 Single vision glasses for distance, 2 reading glasses, 1 photo-grey glasses, 1 bifocals and 2 progressives. To tell you the truth, they are all working good for us, and we love them. All 8 pairs of glasses cost me only $250 bucks, and it saved much of my budget. I received all the glasses within 2.5 weeks, and that is acceptable. My wife and my kids love them very much, and we will definitely go back to buy more glasses from Zenni.

the ordering took some study but i did it correct per their instructions.
I did find out that frame and lens fitting is only a approximate thing. Go to any drug store to try reading
glasses and you will find out that almost all will fit and
the lens strength is easy to pick out.
I had more trouble with the prescription as the DR did not put in the correction for astigmatism it was a hurry up job
and get them out the door.

Just received two pair of eyeglasses from zenni optical (#3647 & #3181) after hearing about them on clark howard radio show, and am very satisfied.  Took about three weeks.  Have a pair of $150 glasses from my local optometrist but have been very unhappy with the "sport" type arms since they always fall off my face.

I spent an extra $4.95 for a light tint on the #3647 and it came out just as expected.  I'd definitely use them again.

I am very pleased with the eyeglasses, the clip-on polarized clip-ons are not that great, and I don't recommend them. The frames are so inexpensive, why not just buy another pair. It took about a week, from the time I ordered, until they arrived in the mail.

It's sad that others have not had a pleasant experience, but overall, I think it's worth trying them.

I ordered single vision lenses, and my prescription is very slight (can get by without glasses), so this should be an easy order to make. I ordered over 3 weeks ago and besides an immediate confirmation that they took my money, I havn't heard a thing. They don't respond to email and telephone hold time is 45-60 minutes. I just sent them an email cancelling the order that they are not making for me, and I am disputing the charge to my credit card. I can get ignored and ripped-off at a bus stop, I am not going to pay someone for that service.

Horrible frame quality. Lenses are badly crafted and prescription is off! I called their customer service and explained my case but i got hung up rudely like others!?I feel pity for those who think their quality is good.

I purchased my first pair of progressive bifocals. The customer service helped me greatly by discussing the adjustment process. I also purchased prescription computer glasses. The shipping was quick, the price excellent, and customer service extremely helpful.

I bought a pair of progressive chromatic bendable titanium
glasses from Zenni optical. The glasses arrived made poorly--the left side ear piece was ok, the right side ear piece was installed crooked. The glasses fit diagonally across my face instead of horizontally. Then the right side ear piece broke away from the lens! So I called Zenni Optical and they were not very helpful--they said they weren't at the computer and to just send them back. I sent them back by Fedex and they were delivered on April 21, 2005. I have heard nothing since, now it's May 4, 2005. I have called 3 days in a row and all they say is they don't know about them and they will call back--never happens! Today when asking about the glasses I ask for a refund or my glasses fixed--I was told I was talking rudely! I intend to call the Postal inspectors and the Federal Trade Commission about this company and the fraud they are up to!

lets see what i have to say about Zenni optical, yes it has good prices, but on their customer service sucks, the glasses aren't made in the us, they are made in China, i ordered my husband a pair back on 3-04-2006 and now it's the end of may going into June and still no glasses. i can really say you need to find out where your glasses are being made, i can get my contacts faster then i can my husband's glasses, i had to make them give me a refund for the glasses. I AM LOOKING AT OUTER SITES TO FIND ONE THAT MAKES THE EYE GLASSES IN THIS COUNTRY.

On the days before I receive my glasses, I was kind of worry with the recent poor reviews. But what do you know, I have received a decent one. No complain at all.

My husband ordered a pair of glasses from Zenni in late August. I was very skeptical about the quality of them due to the low price. In about 2 weeks, he had a really nice set of glasses. I placed my order last week and got my glasses on Friday...8 days after my order was recieved. They are absolutely perfect. I ordered a pair in stainless steel, and it is truly amazing how much lighter these frames are than any I have ever had in the past. I found a similar frame at a local eyeglass merchant, and the cost for the frame alone was $90. I was even told by the merchant that my prescription could not be placed into those particular frames.
Don't be scared to order from Zenni. Yes, they are inexpensive, but they are high quality. My family will be giving Zenni Optical all of our business from now on.

Zenni Optical gives online shopping a bad name. I ordered 2 pairs and only one arrived after several E-mails and calls the other Pair arrived, one month later with the left lens broke .I attempted to call several times then contacted a person who said they would call me back if I could return them! (because of the great length of time from the original order even-though they just arrived) I was so frustrated I took them from the case and put the already unable glasses in a envelope and put $1.00 worth of stamps on it. The Owner? called me he was just-livid and decided to "school me" on how to be a customer! Because I had not returned the (already broken) glasses in the case I had violated our contract and he was going to report me "to who I have no idea?" for fraud. as of now I have no glasses and no replacements. They will not return the frames either, they said they had to dispose of them and I could not have them back even-though I paid for them. save yourself a lot of money, time, aggravation, and go to a local lenscrafter's!

I'm satisfied with the product received from Zenni Optical.After going to Wal-Mart and getting safety glasses for work coasting 296.00 (they paid for them).I started looking for a pair for me not at work.After seeing that it was going to coast moor than 325.00 I came here.And for under a 100.00 I got moor than what I would have at Wal-Mart.
They were delivered two day sooner that they said.The order accuracy was better that the ones I got at Wal-Mart.I was not sure about placing some things on the order
so I called and they walk me through it .

Excellent experience. I called them on Monday Morning May 12 to ask a question. They answered the phone immediately, and resolved my question. I ordered that day on line, and my glasses were shipped May 16, 4 days later. I received them yesterday, in NYC Tuesday May 20.
Very quick turn around, and the glasses are great!

today - May 5, 2008 (just a week after first ordering)!! The glasses look great and are the exact prescription that I ordered! For $23.95 (which includes the $4.95 shipping fee), I am astounded. The eyeglasses are stylish, contemporary and very light. I am going to order a pair of sunglasses with greater confidence. (By the way, they ship from California and I live in Florida!)

I have had a lot of trouble with zinni gatting my glasse right I had to send them back 2 times and pay postage I did as they suggested and only got less than my money back 2 times I even made a copy of my prescription and they lost it I called and the lady that i talked to was very rude I will never shop with them ever again I woul like to report them to thr better bussines burea I think that I still may do it.I donot recomend them It took me 3 months the last order yhat got messed up was their fault.

I recently bought a pair of rimless glasses from Zenni for $80. Since I have -6.75 prescriptions and the lenses shape were small, I also ordered their high index 1.67 lenses for $40 dollars more .The glasses arrived in about a week and a half. The frame (aluminum) was ok, but look a bit cheap. The lenses however were 10-12 mm thick! If these are high index then I must have a -15 prescription. I gave Zenni a call (customer rep. wasn't very good)and sent it back expecting a new pair. A week later, they sent me an email saying they were refunding 50% of my money back. Contacting costumer service doesn't change anything, so I ended up losing $40 dollars because of their mistake. Trust the name, if you pay more than $19 for glasses at their store, then you're going to get ripped off.

On January 24, 2009 I ordered two pairs from Zenni, a gold half rim stainless steel pair and a trendy clear and black plastic pair, cost was around $45 which included shipping and anti-reflective coating. While there was an estimate that the glasses would arrive in eleven days, they didn't arrive until March 3, 2009, more than a month later. Customer Service was a little difficult to contact by phone but emails were prompt. Needless to say, it was worth it! The glasses are great, accurate prescription and look. My advice to anyone ordering from this site is know your info when ordering- know your precription, pupil distance, and especially- pay close attention to the dimensions of the glasses online and measure them to your own face to decide if they'll fit you. Compare the measurements to glasses you already own. I did this and it was very accurate. The glasses are no different than the ones you would order at a vision store- just much cheaper in price!

I had reservations about ordering glasses online, but after reading a majority of positive reviews decided to go ahead and try it.  Thought I would only order 1 pair, but after seeing all the styles, figured I would try 3 different styles.  My prescription is a pretty straighforward -3.75 & -4.00 with a mild astigmatism. I ordered 3 pairs, total with shipping was $40.  I expected them to take a long time, because quite a few people had trouble with shipping, but I was okay to wait since I normally wear contacts.  They arrived in perfect shape in 1-1/2 weeks!  I was really shocked.  And they are PERFECT!  The prescription is perfect (even though I had to do that pupil measurement in the mirror).  And I LOVE all three pairs.  VERY PLEASED!!!!!!  If I wore glasses more frequently I'd order 4 more pairs and have one for every day of the week.  LOVE THEM--told everyone I work with about my experience.

I placed an order for simple, single vision lenses with the info that I should receive them in two weeks.  It's been three, and after spending three days waiting for them to get their database back online, I find that not only have they not shipped yet, I don't even know if they're done!
Don't waste your time; maybe some people have gotten good service, but it's not worth the crap shoot of maybe or maybe not getting your product, whenever they feel like sending it, in whatever condition.  If you look around the reviews, Zenni is getting such mixed reviews, you're really taking your chances, and how much aggravation are you willing to go through over a small savings?  I only saved about $20 and it's cost me more than that waiting on the phone and being irritated.

I ordered my glasses in Dec have not recieved them as of yet. The company will not answer the phone or return e-mails,this is sad because I had 2 good experiances with this company,anyway buyer beware!

02/25/07: I used one pair for 1 year, few lens scratches, frames mechanically sound, and aesthetically the colors changed from blue to purple. I have just placed those on the shelf and started the other pair...will I be able to survive on $30/year for glasses :) I think so :)

I ordered an initial pair and got good service although the frames lost one of the magnets that hold the magnetic sunglasses on, I fixed that with crazy glue and was happy. I then ordered my daughter a pair and we were ok with them.
I then ordered another pair for her and myself and mine arrived broken. DO NOT THINK THAT THEY WILL ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIVING BROKEN FRAMES, even though we sent them with delivery confirmation. I wasn't smart and lost the confirmation number so I have no proof. I know they got them because the Postal Service confirmed it, but they will not acknowledge that they did.
I am glad I didn't pay much for the second pair because I will not see them.
Next time I will use the "other" site that gets rave reviews on their customer service.
It's a shame because this company had huge word of mouth potential. I personally work in marketing and had sold several pair for them, now I will just direct friends and clients to the other $__eyeglasses.com site.

I read all the reviews and was skeptical, but I am very happy, now that 18 days after ordering I received exactly what I ordered in perfect shape. I would order again and probably will for my wife. Wish they had more color choices on the titanium frameless I ordered, but do recommend the 80% gray I got as well as the optional anti-glare, anti-reflective.

A couple of months ago I needed to buy new glasses following cataract surgery; the big name optical stores quoted prices in the $400-500 range, and that's without tinting and etc. --- a lot for someone on a fixed income!!! So I took a chance with Zenni and am very glad I did. Thus far I have ordered a total of 4 pair (2 pair reading glasses, a pair of prescription sunglasses, and a pair of bifocals) for a grand total of $100 or so, and that includes various coatings, tints, and shipping. The quality of the Zenni glasses is equivalent to or exceeds that of the expensive pair I purchased locally, and they function every bit as well. I will definitely continue to shop with Zenni as long as they maintain prices and quality. I found their customer service to be perfectly OK, no problems here. Delivery averaged about 10 days.

I ORDERED A PAIR OF GLASSES FROM ZENNI OPTICAL AND MY GLASSES CAME IN THE TWO WEEKS PROMISED. IT WAS GREAT PAIR, THE PRESCRIPTION WAS RIGHT AND EVEN THOUGH I DIDNT GET MY ORDER TRACKING NUMBER CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY HELPFUL, AND FRIENDLY.

Some woman collect trinkets and others collect shoes. I collect fashion glasses. I ordered 3 pairs of glasses and received them in about 2-3 weeks. Also, I made a typo on my online "prescription fill-in" and they caught the problem and emailed me to verify. I have now had my prescription glasses for about 2 months and absolutely love what I got for my money. My glass prices ranged between 8-16 dollars each. The only somewhat negative thing I could say about them is that I did call into customer service and found them not to have very good customer service skills.

I absolutely love both pair of my glasses from Zenni. I got them in 10 days......in perfect condition, perfect prescription, etc.. The sunglasses are stylish and the "plain" glasses are excellently crafted. I would order again and again from this company!

Wrong frames, wrong color, magnetic sunglass clip is cheap opaque (you can't see through them)plastic. And these were their most expensive selection. I will never do business with them again. The refund policy is 50% and they will not refund shipping. Yes......I've been had!

I ordered 2 pairs and received 1. Phone lines are always busy and they ignore emails. I am filing a credit card fraud charge against them.

I now have ordered 8, count 'em 8, pairs of Zenni's. My eyes aren't the greatest so I keep 4 pairs of specs on hand (sun glass single vision, clear single vision, clear progressive,and reading). Their average delivery time to the east coast is 2 weeks but if they have a problem with your order you could wind up waiting a month. They bill when you order which doesn't sound legal, but that's what they do.I can tell you this: when you get your glasses you'll be REAL HAPPY. They are as good at he ones at the private optician store for about 15% of the price and the quality is the same or better.They fit well and match my prescription perfectly. Bottom line: to keep my inventory of specs up to date my local optician estimated my 4 pair cost @ $1350 and zenni hooked me up for $190.55. SUPER HAPPY.

I have ordered more than 15 pairs of glasses from them, with only one discrepancy. Overall, great value - rimless, high index lenses for under $50!

I recently ordered two pair of glasses from Zenni. When I received the glasses, the prescription was incorrect, (my prescription was current, August 2009). I returned the glasses and a copy of my prescription. I was contacted an advised the prescription was correct and was offered to return the incorrect prescription glasses or 50% refund. I advised the service department, I would have no use for the glasses and accepted the $29.98 refund.

I believe the company did not want to lose money on my purchase and lied about the prescription being correct.

Beware of buying glasses from Zenni, they are a rip-off.

I read the reviews on Zenni Optical before I decided to purchase my glasses from them, and went in to it ready to wait weeks for my glasses with little to no contact from Zenni. My glasses arrived today, and I was very pleasantly surprised! It took 11 days from the time I placed my order until today when I received them. I didn't have any contact with Zenni once the order was placed, but it really wasn't necessary in my case. I ordered a single vision rimless titanium frame with spring hinges in burgundy. My husband ordered the same thing, only with a blue frame and blue tinted lenses. Both of our prescriptions were correct; the glasses arrived in hard cases in great condition. The lenses are beautiful, it is impossible to tell you didn't pay top dollar for them. My frame has a small chip in the paint near the right front temple, but it's not really noticeable, and for the price, it's a flaw I'm willing to live with! Nothing was bent or broken. I am very happy with my experience with Zenni, and plan to place another order with them soon.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.  Ordered the glasses - a very simple prescription- over 3 weeks ago.  Order was somehow misplaced (or something) and was told 3 weeks later they were just shipping the glasses from China.   Then was told the glasses were broken and they would have to start all over again, which would presumably mean a delay of another 3 weeks.  Customer service is staffed, apparently, by incredibly rude, snotty, untrained, self-entitled kids who feel free to speak however they wish to customers.  Unbelievable.  Cancelled the order - we'll SEE if the refund is forthcoming.  Do not waste your time, money, or expectations on this bunch.   They did not deliver for me, and they are not nice.

Recently ordered a pair of glasses on 11/10 and received on 11/21 at slightly less than $40 include shipping. Very satisfied with the glasses so far esp. a comparable pair from Sears Optical would cost ~$250 even with 50% off on frames.

Stumbled across this site looking for the 39 dollar website. Couldn't believe the prices,thought it was a joke. I had just paid over $450 for specs and sunglasses at Lenscrafters, but still needed backups. Zenni's website is very easy to figure out. Just one photo of each pair, but the specs are broken into sensible categories, and the technical data (width, length, bridge distance...)is given. I ordered two pair for a total, with s&h, of $54. They arrived in 11 days, with no problems. The prescription was correct, and they fit fine. I did take them in to my local store for minor adjustments. I bought one dark plastic pair that is very narrow and takes a minute to adjust to, but I saw a very similar frame (just frame), for $149 at Lenscrafters. The stainless steal pair from Zenni is now my favorite pair. I certainly got more than I paid for. Amazing deal, great price. For backups, you have nothing to lose here. I recommend getting that first pair from your local store to ensure the prescription is right, and to build a relationship if these need adjustments. I'll go back to Zenni soon.

I was skeptical at first, having never paid less than $100 for a pair of eye glasses since wearing them over 40 years. When I opened the package and saw my $15.95 glasses plus $4.90 each for tint and glare ($25.80) I was like WOW!! These are the best glasses I have ever worn. So Light and stylish!! I immediately told all my eyeglass wearing friends about Zenni. My daughter has ordered Three pairs and loves all three! My son has ordered a pair and is awaiting their arrival, which isn't long either about two weeks or less! I could give Zenni 10 STARS!!!

The customer service is helpful in that it corrected my prescription readings which I've entered incorrectly.Their lab which is located in China is doing very good service in that it is verifying all prescriptions before going to production.I've received my eyeglass set in two weeks flat.The frame (I've opted for stainless steel) and glasses are of very high quality.Its great for its price.It costs me $25 including shipping.

I purchased a pair of glasses through ZenniOptical.com because my vision insurance only covered contacts or glasses, not both. I was extremely hesitant about doing so but I figured with the prices how could I lose... Well I made a smart choice. I was extremely impressed when I received my glasses, which was only 12 days from the date of purchase. And I have an extremely bad astigmatism in one eye. I was just going to get the lenses replaced in my old glasses but JUST FOR the "featherwates" lenses it was going to cost nearly $200.00. I called customer service and asked a few questions, which were answered quickly. If anyone out there is considering purchasing glasses from them, make sure you're your prescription is correct and you measure your PD distance correctly and you should have no problem!! I give them an A++!! Will definately purchase from again and again.

I agree with those who were pleasntly surprised by their experience with Zenni Optical. I kept expecting something to go wrong, but it never did -- the order process was smooth, the delivery happened as advertised, and the product was better than what I have gotten from better-known vendors for many times the price.

This has been the worst shopping experience I have experienced on the net. Customer service is no service at all. E-mails are un-answered. When you call they make promises they do not keep about calling back and responding to requests. 100% Satisfaction is Fiction ... and I'm easy going. It's 2 months now and no glasses and no refund. The first order they sent broken glasses, damaged sun glass shades and a complete wrong order on a second pair of sun glass shades. I was very clear on my instructions, I called to confirm my order twice and I was sent the wrong product. Never again with Zenni. Please consider some other company. I now have my claim in dispute with my credit card company. All this deal caused was aggravation and I had to pay to send back the damaged and wrong order. Think twice, there is a reason it is cheap. Crap products and NO Customer Service.

One of the worst online services ever. I have ordered the glasses in March. When I received the classes, the lens were cracked. So, I sent it back, and Zenni optical said it will be shipped immediately. Look at what is happening? I still do not have my glasses and it's end of June.I want my glasses NOW. Awful customer service, Lies to customer that they sent the glasses, How can I trust accuracy of the prescription if they continue to lies to me that they did sent the glasses even though they didn't. They might give you the wrong prescription and make your eyes worse off. Bad service.. Go to your local eye wear store...

**BEWARE ZENNI OPTICAL**

Rx is a prescription. Zenni will not show proof to anybody buying their lenses exactly what your lenses are made to. You tell them what your Rx is when you order, but they won't show it or prove it when you get your order. So, if they screw up, and they do all the time, you have wasted your time and money. They do this on purpose (won't provide any paperwork with your order to state what your lenses are made to)
because most people buying cheap lenses and frames won't take the hassle to return them. You waste between $30 and $150 every time.

Also, you can only get tint in 3 shades, and can not ever get any tint on anything but straight, low strength lenses.

You can not get high index lenses either (anything thinner than 1.57) like most places except on straight, low strength lenses.

Their customer service is horrible and they are very rude.
Especially the gal that answers.

Very easy to use web site. Glasses arrived in less than 2 weeks. Can't beat the price! The glasses were exactly as ordered and the correct prescription. This was my first order, kind of a test. I WILL use them again! The same glasses would have been $200-$300, even with insurance.
At this price I can afford to buy a spare pair or two.

I wouldn't recommend this site if you want to receive your glasses within two months or less. I understand that these glasses are made in China, but you shouldn't state that orders will be delivered within three weeks if you can't actually deliver them within that time - it turns out to be double the time they promise. I have been waiting a month for my order and I just found out today that it has not yet even left China, so it will likely be another month before I receive it. Horrible! And when I called, the woman who "helped" me was exceedingly rude and had no answers for me whatsoever. Overall satisfaction? Zero! Even if the glasses are fabulous, I couldn't tell you since they take so long to arrive and the customer service has left a bad taste in my mouth. For your sanity, go somewhere else!

They have lost my order, it is two weeks past due, and Zenni Optical does not posses a functioning database to tell me where it is. They are either unable or unwilling to return phone calls and emails. Their customer service manager, Chris is inflexible and unhelpful. He could use a class in conflict resolution and customer service. He and his staff is dismissive, they try to resolve situations by taking your name and "calling you back" which results in no phone call from them, and more of your time spent calling them again.

I would never, ever, under any circumstances use this company again nor would I recommend them. There are other competitors out there who are more willing to help their paying customers.

My almost two year old thinks glasses are great to play with so once he broke my last pair I decided to go cheap. Zenni has a pretty good selection. I ended up spending 22.85 total and they showed up in less than 2 weeks. I was surprised. I will be ordering some more fun ones :) I would recommend Zenni Optical to other people.

Very happy with my service- their site was very good and helped quite a bit with figuring out my prescription. The delivery (to Canada) was as fast as could be expected, and best of all, they did not charge an outrageous rate to ship up here :)

I have had nothing but horrible experiences with this company! First I tried to order 2 pairs of glasses, but the website shopping basket was broken they said. So I faxed in the order. Two weeks later I called and the response I got was "Oh sorry, we haven't ordered it yet." Then, one month after that, I called again and they had forgotten to make the order! VERY unsatisfied, I decided to cancel altogether and find another company to do my business with.

Great buying experience! I initially ordered two pairs of eyeglasses, along with a pair of sunglasses. The eyeglasses were progressive bifocals and I received them in two weeks. I've ordered two more pairs of eyeglasses for a total of $250.00 for 5 pairs of glasses ; the last pair of eyeglasses I bought from the local optician cost me $400.00. The glasses from Zenni's are very well-made, too!

I bought 3 pairs of glasses, two of them bifocal, one sunglasses,  plus clip ons for $121.  It took nearly three weeks for delivery, but they are great. And no extra charge for poly carbonate! I am totally satisfied and would definitely order again. The only disappointment is that some of the styles aren't available as bifocals and some aren't available for certain size faces. The stem lengths sounded different from what I had before, but they fit very comfortably with no  adjustments needed.

I tell everyone I know about zenni. My glasses were around $40 for memory titanium frames and a couple pairs of the snap on sunglasses. A similar setup at costco was going to cost me $300. When I eventually need a new pair I'm going to zenni all the way.

I was concerned about the bad reviews others had left, but I decided to take a chance and ordered a pair of rimless memory titanium glasses with the anti-reflecting coating. A little less than two weeks later I received exactly what I ordered and in perfect shape. Now I'm considering buying another pair, even though I don't really need them. You just cant beat the price.

The shipping was supposed to take 2 weeks? In the buying notes, I noted that I had to travel for work and I needed them a bit quicker than that... to my surprise, that request was fulfilled and I received the pair a day before I left town!

I paid a total of 15$, $9 frame, mid-index which turned out to be quite thin for -3.00, and AR coating.

Result? I like these 15$ pair much much more than the Ray-ban I unjustly paid hundreds of dollars for. The style and fit of these are better, and I cant tell a difference between these lenses and my other pair.

These were supposed to be "back-up" glasses, but I actually wear these daily and use the other as back-up

Received my order on time, but I was disappointed at the quality. The frames are very poor quality -cheap- (yes, here you get what you paid for). I'm afraid to even put them on that they will break. They make this cracking noise and look like toy eyeglasses rather than prescription. I ordered 4 pairs, 3 different styles and price ranges. I will be returning all of them. They promise 50% refund. We'll see. I bought glasses online before and was very satisfied. I used eyebuydirect.com and they delivered stylish quality frames for little more than zenni. I will go back to shopping at eyebuydirect.
