I have ordered twice from Zenni Optical.
1. Ordered two pair of bifocals, one pair of rimless memory titanium and another pair of metal frame. Both pair were and remain excellent and the price was very good. Delivery took three weeks.
2. Recently ordered two pair of bifocals, one rimless titanium and another metal rimless. Thirty days after the order date, I called Zenni Optical and was able to speak with a representative after only a few tries. The representative was polite and efficient. I received an email two days later, saying my glasses would be shipped to California the following week and I would get a tracking email after that. No, the order is still pending after five weeks.
Bottom line: when your oder works with Zenni, everything is fine, but when it goes wrong, it can go very wrong indeed. If you feel lucky, go ahead and order; if not, look elsewhere. It may be worth the extra dollars to have a better result.

I ordered 2 pair with different frames and received them after 3 weeks. 1 pair was perfect and very happy with them,although sunglass clip-on is poor quality.
2nd pair lens height was 31mm should have been 34mm, customer support said that was not enough to make a difference and they could not do anything about it. Looked nothing like picture. It makes a huge difference. Magnetic sunglass clip-on very poor quality.
I had the lens checked and they were the correct prescription.
I can buy 5 or more pair for what 1 pair would cost locally, so I will order from Zenni again.

Just received two pair of eyeglasses from zenni optical (#3647 & #3181) after hearing about them on clark howard radio show, and am very satisfied. Took about three weeks. Have a pair of $150 glasses from my local optometrist but have been very unhappy with the "sport" type arms since they always fall off my face.
I spent an extra $4.95 for a light tint on the #3647 and it came out just as expected. I'd definitely use them again.

lets see what i have to say about Zenni optical, yes it has good prices, but on their customer service sucks, the glasses aren't made in the us, they are made in China, i ordered my husband a pair back on 3-04-2006 and now it's the end of may going into June and still no glasses. i can really say you need to find out where your glasses are being made, i can get my contacts faster then i can my husband's glasses, i had to make them give me a refund for the glasses. I AM LOOKING AT OUTER SITES TO FIND ONE THAT MAKES THE EYE GLASSES IN THIS COUNTRY.

Horrible frame quality. Lenses are badly crafted and prescription is off! I called their customer service and explained my case but i got hung up rudely like others!?I feel pity for those who think their quality is good.

My husband ordered a pair of glasses from Zenni in late August. I was very skeptical about the quality of them due to the low price. In about 2 weeks, he had a really nice set of glasses. I placed my order last week and got my glasses on Friday...8 days after my order was recieved. They are absolutely perfect. I ordered a pair in stainless steel, and it is truly amazing how much lighter these frames are than any I have ever had in the past. I found a similar frame at a local eyeglass merchant, and the cost for the frame alone was $90. I was even told by the merchant that my prescription could not be placed into those particular frames.
Don't be scared to order from Zenni. Yes, they are inexpensive, but they are high quality. My family will be giving Zenni Optical all of our business from now on.

I ordered single vision lenses, and my prescription is very slight (can get by without glasses), so this should be an easy order to make. I ordered over 3 weeks ago and besides an immediate confirmation that they took my money, I havn't heard a thing. They don't respond to email and telephone hold time is 45-60 minutes. I just sent them an email cancelling the order that they are not making for me, and I am disputing the charge to my credit card. I can get ignored and ripped-off at a bus stop, I am not going to pay someone for that service.

I order mine because of the cheap price. Don't mind if I ever lost it. Ordered one and I got it in exactly 2 weeks.
On the days before I receive my glasses, I was kind of worry with the recent poor reviews. But what do you know, I have received a decent one. No complain at all.

I am very pleased with the eyeglasses, the clip-on polarized clip-ons are not that great, and I don't recommend them. The frames are so inexpensive, why not just buy another pair. It took about a week, from the time I ordered, until they arrived in the mail.
It's sad that others have not had a pleasant experience, but overall, I think it's worth trying them.

Order was correct.
I'm happy with my Bi Focal, the frames are well made, very good fit and finish.
the ordering took some study but i did it correct per their instructions.
I did find out that frame and lens fitting is only a approximate thing. Go to any drug store to try reading
glasses and you will find out that almost all will fit and
the lens strength is easy to pick out.
I had more trouble with the prescription as the DR did not put in the correction for astigmatism it was a hurry up job
and get them out the door.

My wife and I ordered a number of pairs of glasses from Zenni. They took on average about two and a half weeks to arrive (we are on the east coast and Zenni is in California). Still, we are EXTREMELY pleased with the product. Zenni did an excellent, extremely accurate job cutting the lenses - my lenses are rather thick, making this somewhat tricky, and my wife's last pair of full-retail-price lenses were just botched. The frames are, as far as I can tell, every bit as good quality as something you'll pay ten to twenty times for at your local boutique. Pay close attention to the dimensions of the frames, though... I ordered 1 or 2 pairs that ended up being much larger than I envisioned them! Overall, given the variety of frames & lenses we ordered, I have a good sense of the quality of the product. I'd have to say that my experience with Zenni is a very clear A+. I will absolutely re-order from them, and I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

Zenni Optical gives online shopping a bad name. I ordered 2 pairs and only one arrived after several E-mails and calls the other Pair arrived, one month later with the left lens broke .I attempted to call several times then contacted a person who said they would call me back if I could return them! (because of the great length of time from the original order even-though they just arrived) I was so frustrated I took them from the case and put the already unable glasses in a envelope and put $1.00 worth of stamps on it. The Owner? called me he was just-livid and decided to "school me" on how to be a customer! Because I had not returned the (already broken) glasses in the case I had violated our contract and he was going to report me "to who I have no idea?" for fraud. as of now I have no glasses and no replacements. They will not return the frames either, they said they had to dispose of them and I could not have them back even-though I paid for them. save yourself a lot of money, time, aggravation, and go to a local lenscrafter's!

Extremely BAD customer service. Major delays in delivery. Unresponsive on status requests. Highly inadequate online e-commerce system. Lab is in China so that complicated getting status of delayed order. Same customer service person every time I called. Frankly, she was a JERK. She told me to stop emailing them, then she hung up on me when I told her I was having trouble getting them to respond to me. She alone will be the death of what otherwise could be a good company. They should fire her and hire a real customer service staff. Once glasses arrived, quality was good. Hopefully, the other two pair that I've ordered will arrive in my lifetime. I will NEVER use them again despite the price and decent quality of the glasses.

I'm satisfied with the product received from Zenni Optical.After going to Wal-Mart and getting safety glasses for work coasting 296.00 (they paid for them).I started looking for a pair for me not at work.After seeing that it was going to coast moor than 325.00 I came here.And for under a 100.00 I got moor than what I would have at Wal-Mart.
They were delivered two day sooner that they said.The order accuracy was better that the ones I got at Wal-Mart.I was not sure about placing some things on the order
so I called and they walk me through it .
