I've had this for a few years now. We have loaded it up with 4 bikes but usually only 3. I actually usually only use it when we go on vacation because I have a in-the-truck-bed system when only hauling bikes. When I do use it there is a truck bed full of camping gear and usually 3 kayaks on the roof. Accessing the camping gear is easy from both sides since this swings in both directions as opposed to the competition.

With so many mountain bike configurations out there these days it is hard to fit them all but this unit does well if you use a bit of ingenuity to nest them all.

I have had no problems with this unit and am glad to have it.

I don't prefer to have one of these on the back of my truck all of the time but as I said I only use it when my bed is full.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for such an item.
