Design Generations

When reading automobile epinions, it can be hard to remember if the vehicle being reviewed is virtually the same as the vehicle currently for sale or if it represents a previous design. Conversely, if you’re interested in the current design, which model years should you read about? In this epinion I indicate when various models were (or in some cases, will be) significantly redesigned. Mostly I just list nameplates that are still being sold back to about 1990. In some cases I include models that are no longer sold and years before 1990. Minor redesigns are in parentheses.
I have listed all Chrysler brands except Jeep together, all Ford brands together, and GMC is listed with Chevrolet.
