Depending On the Scratch
Written: Jan 28 '00
Pros:Works On Light Scratches
Cons:Doesn't do much for big scratches
When I first saw this on TV, I thought it was too good to be true. Then, I started seeing it in stores, so I bought one. It didn't give me the results I wanted, but it isn't completely useless. It works great on tiny little swirl marks and scratches, but it doesn't even help on chips or big scratches. It depends on how much paint is still under the scratch. What this compound does, is it uses a type of wax to fill in the cracks, it is translucent, so all you see is the paint. Once it fills in the cracks, it reflects the color that is under, or near it. Making it seem like the scratch is gone. But once you wash it, it may come off, reapplication is necessary. But overall, it is worth it up to some point. If your car has some serious scratches, forget it. But if it has tiny little scratches, this is for you.
