The Thule 631 - Summit box is for it's price one of the best cargo boxes out there. This multi-use cargo carrier can haul ski's and snowboards in the winter and camping gear in the summer or groceries year round. You must have some sort of rack on your auto to use the box but the mounting system works with Thule square bars, round bars and even with factory rack cross bars. With 10 cubic feet of space this cargo box effectively doubles the carrying capacity of most autos and many SUV's. Fit and finish is pretty good, but the lid is just a bit sticky to open. The box comes with locks but they are not that tuff. Also forget about parking at the mall or any parking garage if you put this box on your SUV or van as it adds about 24" to the top of your auto. The Thule 631 - Summit box is the next best thing to pulling a trailer if you need to haul more stuff around. In my Epinion it also looks better than the Yakima cargo boxes, only the $$$ Packsport boxes look and function better than the Thule.
