Pros: PRICE, FUN TO DRIVE, QUALITY
Cons: none, really

I bought my Honda Civic Si in 1993 after three years of driving the most unreliable vehicle I ever purchased. Here is my review of this great car:

THE GOOD: My Honda was virtually stripped when I bought it brand new. I added an air-conditioner, a Pioneer stereo and CD changer and upgraded wheels. It has been driven on every southern California freeway going over pot holes, through the rigors of rush hour traffic jams and down gang-infested streets of East Los Angeles. It has survived El Nino rainstorms, the 1994 Northridge earthquake, snow storms and even had it's rear window smashed out by a Los Angeles gang member while I was it! The gang member was never found but as a side note, the embattled Los Angeles Police Department came out within 2 minutes!

It has a 4 cylinder, 5 speed V-TEC engine with 125 bhp. This more than enough power for such a small car. It is very quick and nimle and very easy to drive. It's a pure joy to drive even in heavy traffic.

THE BAD: Sun roof's electronic features (to crack the moon roof a tiny bit) never worked from day one. Honda techs ordered many parts for it but it just couldn't be fixed. THAT'S IT! No other problems ever came about!

THE UGLY: It now has well over 250,000 miles and is still going strong. A truck once threw up a large rock and put a penny sized crack in the windshield. When will this car ever die? I had never driven a car more than 80,000 problem-free miles. My Honda is still going strong with no signs of let up!

You can park this car anywhere. Try parking a huge SUV in a shopping center parking lot . . . good luck. As for gasoline mileage - I average anywhere form 40-45 mpg. I'd highly recommend this car for college students or people who do a lot of commuting.
