Shopping onlineOct 03 '00 Write an essay on this topic.I just got in the market for another used bike and started surfing the web. There seemed to be some really good places to go (and not so good!). So, I thought I'd give my 2 cents worth on the subject...here we go! 1) Bigbike.net - I found these guys on the recommendation of a friend. They're a Indian/Honda dealer out of Florida. They have a huge inventory of metric and v-twin bikes and promote something called fly-in, ride-out on their web site. They don't get into any details there, but, I assume they'll pay for you to come and get your bike. That would be really cool. Anyhow, photos and search features were really good. I like the site and the babes on it. You guys need to see those babes! I'd give this site a 9 of 10. 2) Cycletrader.com - Great site with really powerful search. Great inventories, but no babes. :) They have a huge(!!!) inventory, but, like everything else on the internet, you don't know who you're dealing with. I'd say 8 of 10. 3) Motorcycle.com - their ads were too hard to get to. Even then, they have a ton of bikes but no search and no way to find exactly whan I'm looking for. If I don't want to see a rice-burner, I shouldn't have to. Stay clear of this site. 2 of 10. That's it for me. Anyone else know of any good sites? |
