I bought a 1999 Jeep Cherokee about one year ago, and it was perfect for me.
It is very easy to drive an maneuver. The length of the vehicle is just right so you can get in and out of tight parking spaces, and you don't have to crane your neck to see where you are backing up to.
I had an eighteen month old son, and he could ride comfortably in the back seat in the middle. There is actually more leg room in the front seats than my former Explorer.
The problem I had with it and the reason I traded it in was that I had a second child, and the 2 car seats took up the entire back seat, and there was no room for another person to sit there. My Jeep then went from a five passenger to a four passenger.
The double stroller I have also took up the entire back. I would buy this vehicle if I had two children out of car seats and strollers, but I wouldn't advise it for parents of young children who are still using them.
