My wife wanted a new car and we started looking at the saturns. Once we got all the options she wanted, the price was well over $20,000. That is when I said - for this price you might as well by a sports car (big mistake on my part). Next thing I know we are on the Pontiac lot looking at Firebirds.

WE did purchase a Firebird (year 1997) and it has been a great ride ever since. Most of the features she wanted (power this and that - bigger engine, cd etc) were standard on the firebird model we purchased. WE did go with the smaller engine - 6 cyl.(mostly to save on insurance rates and because my wife would be dangerous behind a 350).

The car rides great and the acceleration rate is fast - even for a smaller engine. This is a great car for anyone.
