Pros: 4-wheeler with a heater, good mpg, starts every time(reliable) Cons: 1.3 liter engine but EFI helps
I purchased a used samurai about 3 years ago, I drive it about 2 times a week and on weekends to a small cabin my family owns. The interior has been replaced and that's about it. No problems out of the engine, transmission or front and rear ends. I've replaced a rear wheel bearing, and wheel seal, the part cost was about $35.00. This little 4x4 will go just about anywhere. It has very little power and 60mph is pretty much maxed out. This has to be the most basic vehicle I've ever owned, absolutely no frills... exactly what i want in a 4x4. I think when i purchase it, it retailed for $995.00... I was happy to pay $2700.00... because i couldn't find one out there for $1K that resembled a vehicle that would take me where i wanted to go.
