Pros: Power, V6, Color, Stereo, Seat Comfort Cons: Back seat space, transmission, trunk water leak, door jam rust
Summary: This car is great. It will handle very longs drives to just about anywhere. We have taken it on back streets, along 4 hour highways non stop. Dirt roads, snow, mud anything at all. The V6 version we have will pump out everything you could need. The ... read more

Pros: Great on gas, excellent heating and cooling, I pretty much love everything about this car. Cons: The paint is chipping, the interior is a little cramped.
Summary: About 3 years ago, I was looking to buy a used car. I knew exactly what I wanted, and the one type of car I didn't want was a Corsica. So I searched for about a month or so, and went to a local dealership. The guy I spoke to told me that he had a Corsica ... read more

Summary: The 1996 Chevrolet Corsica is my fourth car in six years. I purchased this car used. Having gone through so many cars in a short time gave me a good starting point for evaluating my car.

Pros: Large trunk, roomy back seat, smooth ride Cons: Uncomfortable seats.
Summary: Our Corsica was originally my mother-in-law's car. We took over payments when she was given a newer model. I found the car very easy to steer, and was happy to be able to look out the rear view window. (I sat too low in our Neon.)
I was happy ... read more

Pros: Performance (6 cylinders only), comfortable, price, standard ABS Cons: difficult to sell
Summary: I bought my 1996 Chevrolet Corsica on the summer of 1997.
That was the first car I bought in the US, and it seem to be the 'most car' for the money I had back then - It was the same price as 1993 Japanese cars.
Further more - moving from a ... read more

Pros: Reliable and economical Cons: Not very stylish
Summary: I bought my '96 Corsica around Thanksgiving of 1998 with about 28K miles on it. I had an '88 Corsica that I had a wonderful experience with. I guess I'm just stupid, but when I finally gave my '88 to my son with 150K miles on it, I decided to try a '93 ... read more

Summary: Just look at the picture of this car.
Would you buy it?
I wouldn't.
But when the engine went on my brand new Chevy Cavalier I went back to the dealer to trade in that hunk of a lemon for another car. I didn't have much money at that point ... read more

Pros: powerful, exhaust note, cheap if used Cons: cheap interior, weird styling, looses value FAST
Summary: I rented a 1996 Corsica with the 3.1 V6 back in 1997 to take a trip from Texas to New York and back. I believe that I put some 3500 miles on the car. Therefore, my review is based purely from a "how it drives" standpoint. I believe the car ... read more

Pros: Good gas mileage, good first car Cons: Bad seals, bad alignment, not very roomy in the backseat
Summary: I bought my 1996 Corsica after trading in my 1990 Corsica. I have no clue why I stayed with this model. I hated the 90. The alignment on the Corsica's is awful. The brake lines also tend to go fast. But on to my 96...it's a decent car. It gets ... read more
