Pros: economical, fun to drive, good-looking Cons: no backseat leg room, poor side-impact crash ratings
Summary: *Note: A long time ago, when I was new here, I wrote a review on this Cavalier. It wasn’t up to my new-found quality, so I decided to re-write it. It needed so much help that I just decided to re-write it all together, so here goes...

Pros: Gas mileage is amazing, runs amazing, engine lasts long, great car Cons: None if you take care of it

Pros: amazingly dependable Cons: very plastic feeling, poor overall quality

Summary: Not a bad motor really, reasonably reliable, certainly not the worst vehicle I've ever driven, but certainly not the best either. Bought it used about 1½ years ago due to a new job. Since then I've had to replace the water pump(If I'd had the ... read more

Pros: Reliable Cons: A rattle in the dash no that one can seem to find the solution to!

Pros: It will get you from Here to There Cons: Don't have an accident.
Summary: I bought this car new in 1998. Because of Financing and Price it beat out the Saturn. However after 4 years I am ready to trade.

Pros: Simple, sleek, fun to drive Cons: Clearcoat chipping
Summary: I bought this car a few days ago from a dealer. While the Cavalier is pretty generic to look at, it makes up for it in the ride. For a compact car, I find the ride to be smooth and fairly quiet. The shock absorbers are pretty good for a compact, too. ... read more

Pros: Cheap to drive, peppy, sporty appearance Cons: uncomfortable for long trips
Summary: I bought my '98 Cavalier last year with 33,000 miles on the odometer. I got a great deal - the dealer gave me $2500 trade in on a dying, 16 year old Blazer, which brought the price of the car down to $6495 (already marked down due to hail damage.) I ... read more
