Pros: Best value for the money. Fun, durable. Cons: Convertible top doesn't hold up well in a hail storm.
Yes, PuddleDuck. The second. You don't have to admit to naming your vehicle, but I freely admit to naming mine. I love it, so why not?
I bought the original PuddleDuck ( '92 Geo Tracker ) used in 1995. Once I got used to feeling like I was...

Pros: nice CD player Cons: Everything else you could imagine
I fell in love with the 1998 Chevy Tracker convertible I bought. I had several people I know recommend the Tracker to me, so I felt is was a good bet over the Jeep Wrangler I was also looking at. Dumb move, very dumb move. Within 300 miles I was broke...

Last year we purchased a brand new 1998 Tracker. It is a four-door hard shell model with standard transmission. Ours is champaigne colored, and has cloth seats. We bought it to replace our Ford Aerostar minivan. While test driving it, we thought that...

Pros: Runs great, very cute Cons: No room for a family
We bought our Tracker in May 1998--just one month before we found out I was pregnant with our son. We absolutely loved the Tracker. It was nice to take the top off on those hot summer days and to have the 4 wheel drive during the snowy ones. The only...

Pros: fun to drive, good gas mileage, looks good Cons: lack of trunk space
My husband and I bought a 1998 Chevy Tracker in January of this year. With most other vehicles that we have owned, I got bored with them within just a short time. So is not the case with my Tracker! I did a lot of searching for this vehicle online and...

Pros: Price, looks, gas mileage, off road ability Cons: engine hp, too much plastic in the interior
I bought my 4dr,4wd,5spd,fully loaded tracker in May of 1998. I needed a second source of transportation for my work. After two years and 24,000 miles, my views on this mini suv are all favorable. It gets 27mpg with a combo of city and highway driving....

Pros: Great summer vehicle Cons: Poor winter vehicle
My family and I are from Maryland and we bought a 1998 Chevrolet Tracker in October of 1998. We bought it because it does have a lot of room for being a small SUV, and it accommodated our family needs great.
It was seemingly a good vehicle...

Pros: Fun to drive off-road. Easy open/shut convertible top. Easy to park. Cons: Lightweight. Prone to hydroplaning. Difficult to drive in wet, icy, or windy. Low gas mileage.
We purchased a 1998 Chevy Geo Tracker 4x4 convertible in January of 1998.
The first year we owned the Tracker if we could have afforded an attorney to fight the "big boys" at Cheverolet we would have sued for this car being a LEMON!

Pros: Easy to handle in snow and ice, easy to park Cons: Easy target for theft, hard to control in wind, too small for family
I bought the Chevy Tracker because it was a "cute little truck". If I could go back in time, I would not have bought this SUV without having talked to someone that owned one.
First, I have the convertible model. This was one of the...
