Pros: Aggressive styling; Interior to match, Superior comfort for a car in this class. Cons: Only 225 HP, No 6-speed
Summary: The Mustang GT, in the 1990s, got a bad rap for being much slower than cars like the Z28 and Firebird Formula. After owning a 1998 Mustang and having driven many F-Body’s, what do I think? Read on... Driving Impressions When it comes ... read more

Pros: Comfortable, reliable, and very handsome. Cons: Awful cup holders, base model has no rear defroster.
Summary: I'd always liked the old '60s Mustangs, but the styling had really been awful through the '80s and early '90s; Mustangs looked like a souped-up Escort, in my opinion. The new body styling in 1994 through to 1998 caught my eye once more and I had been ... read more

Pros: Plenty of power, classic styling, easy to repair. Cons: Tends to go through tires quickly, not the safest car in bad weather.
Summary: I've owned Mustangs for over 20 years. I always buy them used and I usually keep them for a long time. So when it came time to let go of my beloved 1987 GT, I strolled down to the local Carmax and bought a beautiful 1998 GT that was optioned exactly as ... read more

Pros: Sporty, comfortable seating, plenty of power, very reliable Cons: Compact interior, some poor design inside
Summary: I thought I would give my opinion on this vehicle. I bought it as a leased car in 2000 with 20,000 miles. I decided to go with the 3.8L V6 non-GT model, as the insurance on the GT was prohibitive, and I wanted better gas mileage (Mine gets 21-23mpg in ... read more

Pros: Power, Style, Image Cons: Leg Room, MPG, Insurance
Summary: The opinion on 94&up Mustang is fairly uniform. WE LOVE'em!!! I have owned 3...95 GT, then the 98 GT, now a 95 GT again. The only reason I sold the 98 was to go back to the 95 and the 5.0 engine. I think I will always have a mustang in the garage. For ... read more

Pros: Stylish, comfortable, get's up and go's Cons: Tires are expensive, may be too fast for some
Summary: When I was younger I was a chevelle freak. My father has owned a 69 Chevelle for years, and that's what I wanted. Then I drove the 98 Mustang GT and I realized that technology has come a LONG ways. This car really handles well, it takes corners like ... read more

Pros: Beautiful Fast Fun to drive Excellent Sound System Cons: Tight seating
Summary: First off let me say the Mustang is one fun car to drive. I have read every review of this car, and I have to say that people are buying this car for the wrong reason. If your looking for performance, then buy the GT, Cobra, or Saleen. You cant buy a ... read more

Pros: Power, Handling, Comfort, Looks, Sound System Cons: Minor Rattles
Summary: The '98 Mustang GT Convertible SOUNDS and looks great, and that's almost important as going fast. And the car IS fast, but not insanely so. A tap on the gas is rewarded with a promising burble from the exhaust and a nice surge forward. Push the pedal ... read more

Pros: Reliable,Good Looking, Price Cons: Back Seat, Trunk,Power
Summary: I bought my 1998 V6 Ford Mustang brand new at the end of 1998. Despite poor salesmanship the car seemed a good looker, had reasonable pace and I had every reason to believe in Ford reliability so I bought it. At around $17,000 I believed and still do I ... read more

Pros: Great car, my 2nd one Cons: back seat not very large
Summary: This is my 2nd GT and have been a Stang fanatic since childhood, so I'm familiar with the car. I recently purchased a 1998 Mustang GT with 33,000 miles to replace my 95 that I regretfully sold. The car has Ford's 4.6 litre modular engine instead of the ... read more

Pros: Looks, style, gas efficiency Cons: price, cost of fixing
Summary: I like my new mustang and have found it to be really fun and stylish. I have decided to get rid of it though due to the cost of it. I don't find it very practical for anyone trying to start a family. Also I have found it to be expensive to fix and ... read more
