Love this SUV.... have about 10k so far on it. Did TONS of research on all suv's both large and small, including its crash test results from Australia,(see www.4wdonline.com/a safety2.html)since the US Gov. has not crash tested it. I've also looked at...

Pros: Reliability, worry-free, still very peppy at 120K miles Cons: Radio antenna, umm, that's about it The Bottom Line: This is a terrific truck with loads of room, a very reliable engine, and great build quality. I definitely recommend anyone to purchase a Land Cruiser.
I purchased a 1999 Land Cruiser a few years ago with 93,500 on the odometer and I knew I would have a reliable truck for awhile. This truck has been flawless in the nearly 2 years and almost 30,000 miles I've put on it. It now has 121,000 miles and I ...

Pros: Stately and appealing design, beautiful and VERY spacious interior, great stereo, wonderful for road trips (except at the gas station), good power and handling given the size and weight, EXTREMELY smooth ride Cons: Our computer system went "on the blink" shortly after purchase, which caused almost every light on the rear of the car to either stay on or flash intermittently. Also the hinge on our right rear door keeps coming loose. Also, it IS a massive ca
We bought our 1999 Land Cruiser (including third seat, moonroof and V8) in December of 1998 and have, for the most part, enjoyed it immensely. We bought it for more roominess and the ability to haul my dogs to shows. At one point I had myself, my...

Pros: big, powerful, handsome Cons: never met a gas station it didn't like
Before '98 the Land Cruiser was underpowered and the full time 4-wheel drive was inefficient. The new version, redesigned from the wheels up, is a great ride. There's plenty of acceleration for the So Cal freeways; visibility is quite good; the...

Pros: Cushy for the tushy Cons: Massive and Uncontrollable
We bought this gas guzzler because my wife wanted a carpool friendly non-minivan carrier. The pluses are that you can virtually carrier the whole world in the car, it's so big. The negatives are that it's so big she can't park it without hitting...

I bought my Land Cruiser in early '99 as my first car and I completely love it. It rides perfectly and it's extremely comfortable, I really have no complaints. My only real concern is what I've heard about SUV's being vulnerable to tipping over quite...

We owned a 1995 Range Rover for three years and now own a 1999 Landcruiser that we have had for two years. There is no comparison. The Landcruiser is by far the best SUV that we have ever owned. And that list includes a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Honda...

Pros: quality, leather interior, space Cons: gas!!
The Toyota Land Cruiser has been a great car for 2 main reasons... It doubles as a soccer mom car and a off-road vehicle. The car is able to tote 8 people around (w/ 3rd row), and it is also awesome in rough terrain as it is equipped with 4wd and Locking-Deferential. The performance is outstanding, and it is a VERY smooth ride for a SUV. The car is very comfortable for road trips too. We have a high number of miles on the car and we have had little to no repairs on the SUV. My family has been very impressed with the Toyota Land Cruiser.
