| The 2000 BMW 7 Series is available in five models. Two new models are added for this year, the 740iL Protection and the 750iL Protection. These new models feature Protection Line Light Armoring as well as various model upgrades. New for the millennium is the Premium Package, which is now included as standard equipment on 740i/iL models. In addition, headlamp washers and rain sensor wipers will also be added as standard. Heated rear seats have been added to the Cold Weather package while the optional Active Comfort Seats add a special active orthopedic feature. The new Adaptive Ride Package includes Electronic Damping Control and self-leveling rear suspension. For safety, the Rear Head Protection System (Rear HPS) was added. |
