The Outback is available in four models - Outback Sport, AWD Wagon, AWD Sport Utility Sedan Limited and AWD Wagon Limited. New options offered this year include a 2.5-liter 162-hp engine, raised suspension, three-point rear seat belts and four-wheel anti-lock brakes. Options available include attachments for six skis, kayak, bike and roof basket. Standard features include air conditioning, daytime running lights, a split fold-down rear seat and rear window wiper/washer. Safety features include child safety locks, 24-hour roadside assistance and dual front air bags. Limited models come standard with leather bucket seats, heated seats, power antenna, heated outside mirrors, upgraded speakers and AM/FM stereo with CD and digital clock.
