We have spent the last few months looking for a new vehicle, well a used one. We were not in hurry ...

Pros: Smooth Ride, Great Performance and Beautiful in appearance inside and out. Cons: The price is always a con for me, all pickups are priced too high!
The 2001 Silverado 1500 (or ½ ton) pickup rides like a car and performs like a sports car. This is a beautiful streamline looking pickup that will get your attention.
Standard on all models
This is what comes standard on the...

Pros: Very well re-designed suspension. Cons: none...yet
BECOMING MORE AND MORE "LIKE A ROCK":
In their quest to become a major player in the light truck marketplace, Chevrolet has re-designed their K series line of 4X4 vehicles once again. Ever since the Chevrolet four wheel drive...

Pros: Good gas mileage, roomy crew cab, easy maintenance Cons: funky seat belt issue, a little expensive
This is a highly belated entry for the Roadiem write-off, for which I apologize...
This past year I was fortunate enough to be blessed with a Black Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD baby. After the minor heart attack over the price tag,...

My truck 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Z71 4 door Extended Cab Shortbed in Indigo Blue. 5.3L V8, auto transmission with tow/haul mode, 3.73 rear axle, Autotrac with Auto4WD First of all, I've always loved GM trucks, and have wanted one for ...

Pros: Rear doors for access is GREAT - most of the time Cons: ALL vehicles are too expensive!
Country living calls for a truck - our old truck is a '92 Sierra (GMC's name for a Silverado) Extended Cab, and we've grown quite attached to it and what it does (see Epinion on 1992 GMC Sierra 2500).
It looks like 2001 is a very good year...

Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: none so far
Let me just start out by saying that my opinion is not a technical one, it is just about what I like/dislike about my truck. Roadiem wrote an excellent technical review that is very readable by the layperson.
For Christmas this year, my...

Pros: Look, size, comfortablilty, power Cons: cost
I purchased my 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 pick-up about six months ago and I am completly satisfied by it performance. Before I bought this truck I owned a 1992 Ford Bronco, although this is still my favorite sport utility I am much happier with...

Pros: A much better ride than many of it competitors. Cons: The protective bed cover may buckle in places.
This could very well be Chevy's best truck. General Motors has put a lot into this truck to improve the comfort, ride and power. The result are amazing. With the standard features included in the package, this truck can sell itself.

Pros: Extended cab size. Awesome interior and exterior looks. Power. Cons: Wind noise at door seal (minor). Pricey, but all full-size trucks are.
Chevy's got it! It took me 2 months to determine what truck I wanted (Chevy vs. Ford). I've owned both, and both have been good to me. It was, in fact, a nice looking step-side extended cab Lariat driving down the road that caught my eye and gave me...

Pros: Excellent Looks, Toughness, Power, Dependability, Reliability Cons: Maybe a little bit more expensive because of the lack of great financing available
My 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 was the second in my personal series of the Silverado class and the fourth Chevy truck in our family. You might think that I am biased but actually I would not have gotten a Chevy if it were not for the birth of the new...

Pros: 5.3L Engine has power to spare, Great Styling and ride, Large interior Cons: Rough ride on concrete freeway expansion joints
I have 3000 miles on my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500. The LS package and 5.3L engine make for a great truck. I hear a lot of people saying these trucks are over-priced but I think that Chevy gives you a good value for your money. This truck cost me...

Pros: Hard as a rock Cons: back seat no room
I think this pick up is one of the best yet. First it is a fordable for most familys. Second lots of cargo space and holds lots of weight. Third very cofortable even when driving off road. The bad things back seat has no room. Second often something...

Pros: Great Powertrain, handling, ride, and fuel economy Cons: none
I recently purchased a 2001 Chevy Silverado LS extended cab truck in sunset orange. This is my fourth Chevy truck (second of the current 99 and up generation). This truck appears to be the highest quality one yet. The Vortec 5300 V8 delivers...
