The 2001 Venture Passenger Van is available in either regular or extended models. New features include an OnStar system, a universal garage door opener, an optional rear parking aid for the extended model, and an available 6-disc in-dash CD changer. Exterior styling revisions include a redesigned front grille and fascia. Front and side-impact airbags, 4-wheel ABS brakes, daytime running lights, and child security locks are standard safety features on both models. The extended model comes with deep-tinted glass, a remote keyless entry, speed control, and power windows that are all optional on the Base model. Additional options include rear air conditioning, a 6-way power driver seat, and traction control.
