Pros: Great looking, handles smoothly over rough terrain. Cons: Can be high to get into is you are petite.
I love my 2002 Ford Explorer! I am not one to look into "Mini-vans", so a SUV was my alternative for packing all the stuff for my 2 kids under the age of 4. My husband also likes driving it because it fits everything we need for short or long trips and ...

Pros: More aggressive looking than the redesigned 4dr model.
More horsepower than previous models Cons: Truck-like ride.
I like the 2002 Ford Explorer Sport for the very reason many don't. I like that it has an aggressive look and that it also looks like a truck. The newly redesigned 4 door Explorer looks like an oversized minivan to me. I previously owned a 1996 Ford...

Pros: The best looking Suv out there ! Cons: Small gas tank.

Pros: -Style
-Cargo Room
-Comfort Cons: -Power / Handling
I have owned this car since 2002. I have put about 35,000 miles on it and it has performed well. I like the car because it is sturdy and feels like a real car and has a nice SUV look, while having a shorter and narrower frame than my old Acura Legend. ...

Love to get rid of this dangerous Truck riding......
by saltracer ,Jun 06 '04
Pros: Nice equipment more or less standard Cons: I think this SUV is dangerous (my humble opinion)
At first glance this SUV seems pretty nice. It comes well equipped, gets decent gas mileage and should be easy handling. Well, it makes about 20 mpg, which is pretty good. It has nice features, 6 cd changer, cruise, tilt...
But that easy handling is because the thing has a 99" wheelbase. You combine this with the high center of gravity and weird front suspension and you have "The Rollover King". I really don't like my wife to drive it and would get rid of it, but we bought it no money down, no interest. So, we're upside down for a while.
