Pros: visibility, suspension, handling, styling, luxury/convenience features Cons: transmission programming, brakes, exterior noise The Bottom Line: This is a very good but not fantastic car that is also a nice value and a smart choice.
The car's tasteful styling still looks good to me after three years of ownership. The exterior is subtle without being boring; the interior looks classy with a two-tone color scheme of light and dark beige. The IP and HVAC panels appearance are a ...

Pros: Great engine, nice handling, good looks, well built, A surprising GM product Cons: Some of the interior ergonomics could be better, rear leg room The Bottom Line: A wonderful car especially considering price. Great handling and build quality. Looks good too. GM nailed it this time. This is a winner.
I recently had the opportunity of driving this car for a week and about 2,500 miles in the Colorado Rocky mountains.
The scenery was gorgeous and the roads a delight. Roads made for German cars really. So when I got my rental Oldsmobile I was a...

Pros: "shortStar" 3.5L V6 engine, fit & finish, all-around nice feeling car Cons: not the fastest off the line (which actually should save me some on tires) The Bottom Line: Any car that would make my dad and brother both admit that I had the better car is worth it. Can't wait to see them try to one-up me now.
My last car was a leased '99 Oldsmobile Alero and overall I'd have to say that my experience with Oldsmobile was good. They have they options I want and styling that I like. So when the lease was up and with my children getting bigger, of course, the...

Pros: Shortstar engine, handling, ride, seats, stereo. Cons: They aren't making them any more. The Bottom Line: A great car, fun to drive, practical, and excellent value. A Honda at a domestic price.
I have always liked Oldsmobiles and was sad to hear that GM was dropping the line. To me they always had a combination of value and performance that was tough to match. Last year I found myself needing a new car and I was looking at ones a year or two ...

Nice size trunk also. Cons: Honestly do not have any cons for this car. The Bottom Line: I highly recommend the Intrigue. An excellent family car. Can customize to make it look sporty, for young at heart! Nice comfortable ride. Very roomy. Great gas mileage.
If you're thinking of buying an Oldsmobile Intrigue - don't be too hesitant. We bought a 2002 in Oct ...

Pros: V-6 "Shortstar" engine and smooth transmission. Luxury such as heated seats & dual temperature controls. Cons: Ride is stiffer than comaparable G.M. models. The Bottom Line: I recommend this car for anyone wanting a better than average mid-sized sedan with extra performance and luxury features at a good price.
The 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL with the leather package includes heated seats and dual temperature controls which are not normally found in this price range. The V-6 engine which is based on the Northstar engine coupled with the standard 4 speed...
