| The Suzuki Vitara continues into the 2002 model year with several key changes. Last years base-level JS and JX models have been discontinued, leaving model choices as JLS and JLX, with two and four door configurations. Both JLS models are 2WD, while both JLX models are 4WD. The two door models feature a folding and removable convertible top, while the four door models are hard tops. Other changes this year include new child seat anchors, a new fender-mounted antenna, and newly styled headrests. Exterior color choices have been revised with the addition of Indigo Blue metallic and Ivy Green metallic. While dual front airbags are standard, a four-wheel anti-lock braking system is not available on any Vitara model. |
