Pros: Quick acceleration, Seating, Fun factor. Cons: Price, Warranty, Availability.
The Si badge of honor has made its appearance on and off the Honda Civic over the past 15 years. These 2 letters mean quite a few things to the Civic cult following, most notably the dramatic increase in performance versus the base trim levels. The Civic ...

Pros: All the Civic virtues--reliability, smoothness, and comfort--with just a touch of extra sport. Cons: Not as nimble or quick as I expected--it feels too much like lesser Civics.
My Experience I test-drove a 2003 Honda Civic Si at a local dealership. My test drive lasted about twenty minutes, and covered city streets and the freeway. Performance Having never driven a Civic Si before, I was expecting the ...

Pros: Gas mileage, nice interior, reliable, sporty exterior, lots of options Cons: Companies are starting to offer better warranties, kinda pricey
I'll start my review off by stating a few things. I'm the person that a salesman hates -- when they see me walking in, they run in the other direction. I hate the thought of paying too much for anything, and so I do a lot of homework on car buying....

Pros: Fuel economy, alloy wheels (EX), visibility, infrequent schedule maintenance Cons: 127hp instead of 160hp in Si, 4 wheel disc brakes n/a, floor mats not standard
I think Honda has done again with America's best selling small car. After owning a 1998 Civic EX and a 1998 Cr-V LX, Honda remains at the top of my list for dependable and predictable quality.
I am coming to the 2003 Civic from a 2003...

Pros: Engine uses latest technology, Car built VERY solid, Suspension, Value, FUN TO DRIVE Cons: Styling not liked by all, Slightly tall, 15" Wheels, Engine watered-down
With the launch of the 2002 Civic Si, Honda took a lot of flak from driving enthusiasts and car reviewers for the car. Many felt that the new Si had strayed from the earlier Si's too much, with the old fully independent wishbone suspension up front...

Pros: Sleek, sporty-looking car, excellent gas mileage, exceptional maneuverability, excellent acceleration, great suspension system. Cons: Mirror adjustment lever and audio system awkward to reach, power locks are not automatic.
The sleek contours of a sporty two-door Honda Civic slipped quietly into our driveway. The engine purred silently for a few seconds and became silent as the key was removed from the ignition. The silver paint of the door glimmered against the moonlight ...

Pros: Comfortable, sporty, great mileage, roomy, large trunk and an absolute blast to drive! Cons: Limited color selection...and I had to stretch to even think of one con. :)
To make a long story short, I love this car... I mean I really love this car!
The 2003 Honda Civic DX is a pretty basic, stripped down model; but you would never know it to drive it. Coming in at just over $12,000, you get a lot of bang for...

Pros: That stellar Honda reputation Cons: You're officially one of the Jones'
I betrayed a best friend. My 2000 VW Golf. Had to do it though. It was like having one of those really fun friends that are just too high maintenance. There comes a time when you simply cannot afford to keep them around.
The Civic is ol'...

Pros: Cheap for all the features you get, sleek look, fuel efficency Cons: engine
When I got my license at the end of 2002, I began looking for cars with my parents. I test drove the Eclipse, Tiberon, Mustang, cavalier and a few other models. The civic looks classy opposed to those other cars, and most importantly it will last ...

Pros: Affordable, safe, handles well, reliable, excellent gas mileage, low-maintenance Cons: Dents really easily, not the best for wet roads
This is my second Honda, and I just can't say enough good things about these cars. My previous Honda was a 1994 Accord, which was passed from my dad, to me, then to my sister who continues to drive it. The car has nearly 200,000 miles on it and is ...

Pros: Fairly well equipped for price, great gas mileage, comfortable ride, fun to drive, great transmission Cons: lack of ABS as an option for LX, Poor tires, a few mechanical problems
In January 2003 I leased a 2003 Honda Civic Coupe LX 5-Speed in my home town in Ontario Canada. I paid $17,600 (CAD) before taxes which i feel to be a fairr price for what you get. (Keyless entry, 6 speaker c.d player, power windows, power locks, air ...

Great Value for the Price
by mswangler91 ,Jul 08 '04
Pros: Great value, wonderful car. Cons: Wish I could drive it all day!
I recently bought my Honda Civic and absolutely love it. I drove from Philadelphia to Daytona Florida and only had to fill the tank one time between my trip. This little car is excellent on gas mileage. It is a very comfortable car and I would recommend any one on a limited budget to get this car. I bought the car because my Mercury kept breaking down. I needed a reliable car for a fair price. A lot of my friends have Honda Civics and recommended it. I took it for a test drive and fell in love. It handles turns and wet roads extremely well. For a compact car it is extremely roomy and comfortable for long drives. I can say that after driving this car for almost a year now there is nothing I don't like about it. It comes equipped with power everything and even the stereo system is great. definitely a great value for the price!!!!

good general car for its price
by purchaser ,Dec 28 '03
Pros: roomy interior, visibility, gasoline consumption. Cons: vehicle too light (not steady on highway), poor tires for winter conditions
the thing that really bothers me with this car is the fact that when the interior of the back window gets dirty (film of white stuff that you have to scrub with windex) its impossible to clean. the angle at which the window and the base of the speakers meet is too small to put your hand in and clean that film off. after many attempts, i still cant get the window looking spotless. its kinda annoying, especially when the sun is out and i can see the dirty film in the reflection from the rear mirror.
the other problem i have with this car is that it is extremely dangerous in the winter time. it feels very light when there are heavy winds, rain, or snow because the car starts to move side to side and i have to slow down. also, when the roads are slippery, this car starts to do its own thing. the standard tires that it comes with is pretty bad. i dont think its my driving since i dont have problems with my other car.

My 2 door Civic EX
by fpd18 ,Jan 02 '05
Pros: Excellent gas mileage, sufficient power, sporty look
Cons: The car is very tight in the back not practical for adults.
I bought my Civic new November of 2002. I have very few complaints about the car. We currently own three cars, but I find myself driving the Civic the most often. The car gets great gas mileage I usually get about 280 miles to the tank in city driving. The car is very sporty, when I need that extra punch to pass a car on the highway this car does it. I have two complaints with this car, the back seat room is insufficient, and the metal on this car is very soft.(it gets dented easily). Other wise this is a great city car or I would highly recommend to buy this car for a teen.

Honda keeps the legend going
by rocks213 ,Sep 24 '03
Pros: Great looking Cons: You can get a used one for a lot less, and still reliable
I looked at this one when i was at the dealership, and if you get the EX, with the spoiler and ground effects, this looks like a "Fast and Furious" car right off the lot
