Back in 1989, fresh out of college, I spent a number of months touring the country. Driving the Toyota Celica All-Trac Turbo I then owned along the unpaved roads that crisscross the Southwest, I envisioned a new sort of vehicle, one that combined a ...
Pros: Hottest, Sharpest, Fastest - Thus far the perfect concoction of SUV bliss Cons: Package bundling (still fairly priced), drivers position/view for shorter people
I was going to title this "One Hell of An SUV, and a Rennaissance of Nissan Motors"... oh wait, that might sound too much like the Nissan 350Z review I did a while back...
How 'bout we start it like this: THERE ARE SOME VERY, VERY GOOD THINGS...
Pros: Sporty, Powerful, Lot's of amenities and features, Best in Class Cons: Too sporty for some, too many features for some
We purchased an Infiniti FX45 with the Tech package (which includes the Sport Package as part of the Tech Package) in January of 2003 (Our car was a December 02 build, one of the first off the line, some people might worry about this, we didn't) The ...
After driving literally everything in this class, I bought the FX35 RWD with the Tech package. Living in Southern CA and driving daily as part of my job, I have run up over 7000 miles in 2 months. The reality of highways jammed full of cars driving at ...
I purchased the 2003 RWD Infiniti FX35 with only the premium package upgrade (to get the leather interior) in brilliant silver with a graphite (black) interior. It was a replacement for a 1996 Chevy Impala SS and meets all my needs in a car that up until ...
Pros: Well priced,auto-manu transmission,Infiniti quality interior, worths every penny Cons: not much head room in 2nd row, harsh ride, road noise level increases above 70 mph
First Infinity inroduced the Qx4,the pathfinder that was scared of the mud but was still capable.Infiniti's FX35/45 crossover sport-utilities blend unique styling, sports car performance and handling, SUV utility and all-weather capability. to begin ...
Pros: Gas mileage, navigation, keyless go, gadgets! Cons: Passenger seat controls, no auto door locks.
After owning an Audi TT, Ford Expedition, VW Touareg, 4Runner, Cayenne, Range Rover, Crossfire, and ML350. I know vehicles very well, partly from growing up in the car industry. I recently picked up my used 2003 Infiniti FX35 and it is amazing! I ...
Pros: Great power, looks, and handling Cons: slightly stiffer ride than expected
I recently went out with my wife to search for a replacement vehicle for my 2002 BMW 4.6is X5. I hated that car. Everything that was promised (as close to an M model the X5 will get) was unfulfilled. Anyway, we went to the local Infiniti dealership to...
Pros: Great handling, rugged interior, great sound system Cons: Fuel economy, suspension a little stiff
I have been car shopping for the last few months and have looked at used and new vehicles. I really liked the Nissan Murano but wasn't sold on some of the features. I happened across a website listing a 2003 Infiniti so I checked it out. The next day ...
Pros: powerful, fast, superb handling, great style, camera for reverse. Cons: tight suspension makes this horrible on bumpy roads.
We love this. Handles like a sports car. The navigation and key-less tech package is a must. The DVD flip down comes with 2 wireless head phones for the back seat drivers. So many little features, like having the option of raising or lowering your car lights. My wife hated the look of this car at first. It took me buying it for her to appreciate it.
I was sold on this car when I test drove it and it stuck to the road when i was going 65 around a sharp on ramp. It was scary and not something you would normally do, but the sales person just wanted to show me how great this car can handle the curves.
bottom line... this car is safe to drive for Mom, and fun to drive for Dad.
Hits most of my expectations. by quarrel ,May 17 '04
Pros: Different and flashy Cons: Avoid parking next to door dingers.
I bought the car because it had a new look. I went from the BMW 528 to the FX35 about 6 months ago. Seems infiniti hasn't thought through some of the little features like: automatic door locks when you hit 5 mph. Other then that, I have really enjoyed the ride. It has a lot of muscle and a great intetior.
