A bit low on personality, but at this price...

by mkaresh mkaresh is a Lead on Epinions in Cars & Motorsports, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Apr 01 '02
Pros: Engine power at high RPM, balanced chassis, rear seat room, low price
Cons: Styling and chassis could use more personality, rear seats don't fold
Infiniti’s first entry-lux sedan, the G20, never sold well. Though widely recognized as among the best handling front-wheel-drive sedans, it was also widely criticized for a lack of power. For 2003, Infiniti fixes this problem by making a ...

The Z For the Family

by Nightshade_01 , Apr 15 '03
Pros: Great power, distinctive styling, great handling
Cons: Some questionable interior bits, less-than-perfect ergonomics, hard to read gauges
If you read my reviews, you'll know just how much I enjoyed driving the Nissan 350Z. However it does have one problem in that it only seats two. While that's great for a sportscar, what if you're not in the position to purchase a sportscar? You've got...

G-35 Impressive on Test Drive

by mccorma , Jul 08 '02
Pros: Power, rear drive, front styling.
Cons: Rear styling, no fold down rear seat, spartan interior. Disappointing color choices.
I recently test drove the G-35 along with the Infiniti I-35 when car buying, but ended up buying the I-35. Still, the G-35 was impressive overall.

The rear drive G-35 appeals to my "sportier" side, as I have had several front drivers lately...

by jethrog35 , Mar 05 '02
Pros: Price, quality, engine, rear legroom, VDC is excellent.
Cons: Trunk liner problem, No fold down rear seats, can't raise/lower passenger seat, no goodwill
This review has once again been updated to reflect my ongoing ownership experience with the G35. Last Update: November 9, 2004 after 31 months and 40000 miles. November 9, 2004 Update: I feel compelled to write this update, not just to give ...

A sports sedan that beats most sports cars

by antirich , Jun 11 '02
Pros: Unique styling. No interior wood! Real sports car performance, handling and braking. Rear seat room
Cons: $900 Bose stereo. Sports suspension is rough at low-speeds. Infiniti leasing. No fold-down rear seats
I decided to lease my wife a new car for an anniversary present this year. In my typical over-research way, I set out to find the perfect sports-sedan for our family. I already have a 4-Runner, so extensive room is not a requirement. in fact, I was...

Another winner from Infiniti

by patrickm98 , Jan 02 '04
Pros: Power, handling, comfort...it's a fun car to drive!
Cons: Lack of options and sparseness of interior on the base model
I purchased a G35 coupe back in the summer of 2002, not too long after the vehicle was introduced. This is my second Infiniti (my first being a QX-4), and the sixth Infiniti in my family. Needless to say, we have always been impressed with the quality ...

BMW: Watch Out!

by socratez21 , Mar 15 '03
Pros: Engine, Styling, Ride, Stereo, Price
Cons: Rear Styling, Non Fold Rear Seats
Preface
The following is my account of what I got to experience behind the wheel of the new 2003 Infiniti G35 4 door sedan on a recent test drive. I had just the day before driven the new Mazda Mazda6 of which I had every intention of buying after...

G35 Sedan and glimpses of the Coupe

by aa1234aa , Jul 20 '03
Pros: Given the price, the features and performance can’t be beat by any BMW or Lexus.
Cons: Interior material & aluminum finish, exterior rear styling.
First, a disclosure: I bought a G35 sedan for my wife and very soon traded it in for an Acura RL. Th ...

The car that could save Infiniti

by doctorvu , May 10 '02
Pros: Superb Engine, BMW class handling, powerful brakes
Cons: Poor noise insulation, rear styling takes getting used to
I just purchased a 2003 G35 for $30,600. For that price, BMW, Mercedes and Lexus give you either a supercharged four cylinder or a wimpy six cylinder. There are only two other four doors that are as fun to drive as the G35: the Subaru WRX and the BMW...

Great value, and plenty of performance

by saluki9 , Jul 03 '03

Infiniti Impresses! G35 is Loads of FUN

by cashmoney1188 , Apr 06 '02
Pros: Sporty handling and great engine
Cons: New release, so you'll pay sticker or close... interior design not for everyone
I've never been too big a fan of Infiniti's offerings. Sure, the first Q45 and J30 were intriguing cars, but I was too young to even be in the car market. Their models in recent years however haven't interested me as much, except for the seemingly...

G35 Pleasant and Fun

by dbachman , Oct 08 '02
Pros: Good handling, solid acceleration, smooth braking, reasonably priced.
Cons: Odd controls, quirky layout
I recently traded my BMW 328i for the Infiniti G35. I had 4 BMW's and I wanted something different - but I didn't want to sacrifice on quality or performance. After having one for a few weeks, I'm glad to report that I the G35 was a good choice. Of...

Difficult to recommend

by mhardman , Mar 31 '04
Pros: Performance, handling
Cons: Build quality, straight line stability
I've had a black G35 coupe since summer 2003, and its very much a varied experience. First the pros : This is a great handling car - on twisty roads its almost as good as the Porsche 944 S2 it replaced, although not as communicative. With the VDC ...

by nicktaylor , Aug 20 '03
Pros: 0 to 60 is great price point navagation system look is unique

If you are thinking about it... Just get it.

by gspeed , Mar 23 '03
Pros: Engine, Style, Navigation
Cons: Stiff ride, Gas Mileage, long 1200 mile breakin period
Beautiful sedan. Even with the Acura TL at the 2.9% APR, I still went with the G35. New body style, "Car of the year", high performance, 5 speed automatic transmission were all critical factors in my decision. I am a little surprised that that the...
