Pros: Engine power at high RPM, balanced chassis, rear seat room, low price Cons: Styling and chassis could use more personality, rear seats don't fold
Summary: Infinitis first entry-lux sedan, the G20, never sold well. Though widely recognized as among the best handling front-wheel-drive sedans, it was also widely criticized for a lack of power. For 2003, Infiniti fixes this problem by making a ... read more

Pros: good quality, great performance Cons: tire wear, brake wear, maintenance $$$, very poor service experience
Summary: I have a 2003 Diamond Graphite G35 Coupe. Was a fantastic performing car, gas mileage was ok, but got poor as your foot gets heavy on the gas to have fun. 17-22mpg. Had the tires wear out VERY fast - 15,000 miles and the center portion of the rear ... read more

Pros: Power, handling, and room Cons: Ergonomics, dash reflects on the windshield
Summary: We recently purchased an I35 and received a G35 as a loaner while it was being serviced. Although they are similarly priced vehicles with essentially the same engine, these are totally different cars. My wife hated it - I loved it. Mind you, I don't ... read more

Pros: Styling, handling, braking, acceleration, bang for the buck. Cons: Small trunk, rattles, paint chips, interior controls, interior plastic quality, shifter vibration.
Summary: I fell in love with the styling of the G35 Coupe, and leased a 2003 G35 with the 6MT package, loaded with everything but the Satellite radio (which was only a dealer add option at the time; it later became a factory option). What I love about the ... read more

Pros: Superb handling, Amazing pick-up and acceleration from stop; steering wheel controls for the audio system. Cons: Bizarre placement of the outside-temperature gauge; Not as quiet on the inside as I'd like.
Summary: I never owned an Infiniti. 2003 was the G-35's first year, and as one of Car & Driver's 10 best cars of the year, I was interested in it. I've driven a number of sports cars, enjoy driving fast and like smooth handling. But as I've gotten older, I ... read more

Pros: Performance, handling Cons: Build quality, straight line stability
Summary: I've had a black G35 coupe since summer 2003, and its very much a varied experience. First the pros : This is a great handling car - on twisty roads its almost as good as the Porsche 944 S2 it replaced, although not as communicative. With the VDC ... read more

Pros: Outstanding power train, reliability, warranty (6 years 110,000 km standard), looks. Cons: Power seat controls, no telescopic steering, lousy dealership experience, excessive brake wear / dust accumulation.
Summary: The G35 has been referred to as a BMW killer. In my 7 months of owning this car my experience is such that for the price class, there isn't anything on the road that can touch it. The car has excelled in overall quality, fit, finish, materials, and ... read more

Pros: Power, handling, comfort...it's a fun car to drive! Cons: Lack of options and sparseness of interior on the base model
Summary: I purchased a G35 coupe back in the summer of 2002, not too long after the vehicle was introduced. This is my second Infiniti (my first being a QX-4), and the sixth Infiniti in my family. Needless to say, we have always been impressed with the quality ... read more

Pros: good power/performance Cons: terrible ergonomics, especially for car in this class. I'd not buy Infiniti again.
Summary: The ergonomics and interior appointments of this car are downright poor. Climate controls are inconveniently placed, and counter-intuitive to operate. For some strange reason, the climate control always defaults to outside air (rather than ... read more

Pros: Given the price, the features and performance can’t be beat by any BMW or Lexus. Cons: Interior material & aluminum finish, exterior rear styling.

Pros: Great power, distinctive styling, great handling Cons: Some questionable interior bits, less-than-perfect ergonomics, hard to read gauges
Summary: If you read my reviews, you'll know just how much I enjoyed driving the Nissan 350Z. However it does have one problem in that it only seats two. While that's great for a sportscar, what if you're not in the position to purchase a sportscar? You've got ... read more

Pros: Engine, Style, Navigation Cons: Stiff ride, Gas Mileage, long 1200 mile breakin period
Summary: Beautiful sedan. Even with the Acura TL at the 2.9% APR, I still went with the G35. New body style, "Car of the year", high performance, 5 speed automatic transmission were all critical factors in my decision. I am a little surprised that that the ... read more

Pros: Great looks and performance. Exceptional value. Cons: Fuel consumption is a little high - however given the performance.....
Summary: The G-35 is to today's performance sedans what the GTO was to yesterdays muscle cars - only better. I purchased a 2003.5 (no exterior trunk handle) with the Aero package (Canadian option pkg that includes everything except the navigation system. ... read more
