Pros: Steering quickness and feel, high-end power, sharp yet safe handling, Recaro seats Cons: Boost lag, stiff ride, cheap interior
After driving the WRX STi, I just had to also test its archrival, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. But how? (Note: This is a slightly more polished version of a review I posted back in October 2004. I just learned that there are two listings, and my ...

Pros: Roomy and comfortable interior, quiet ride, slick shifter, eager engine. Cons: Disjointed steering feel, grabby brakes, no significant advantages over the competition.
My Experience I test-drove a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer ES 5-speed at a local dealership. My test drive lasted about forty-five minutes, and consisted of city streets, winding secondary roads, and the freeway. Performance ...

Pros: Loaded with features, awesome stereo, price Cons: Mediocre handling and acceleration, cheap interior
Mitsubishi introduced the Lancer to the US market as a replacement for the Mirage for the 2002 model year. The car had not seen a major redesign yet, but it receives a facelift for 2004. For 2003, the Lancer can be had in low-end ES, high-end LS or ...

Pros: Refined exterior and interior, roominess, excellent standard features, very smooth and comfortable ride Cons: A bit underpowered, brakes and acceleration takes getting used to
I was in the market for a small used car, and I have read many good reviews on the 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer so I decided to test drive it. The Lancer that I test drove was a used 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer ES with Convenience package (keyless remote entry, ...

Pros: Value, cavernous interior, huge rebates, rare on the road Cons: No ABS/Side Air Bags available, 14" wheels rather than 15" or above
INTRODUCTION
Here in a few months down the road, I plan to purchase a new car. I need a car that is good on gas, yet has a peppy engine. It also had to have an automatic transmission. Despite these features that usually may only be found on...

Pros: Excellent handling, roomy interior. Cons: Some wind and road noise. No remote trunk opening-must use the key.
My wife had a 2-door 1998 Saturn that was getting a little hard to get in/out of (our age). She liked the sporty look and the small car feel but the small back seat of the 2-door made it difficult for her to transport her friends to the weekly domino ...

Pros: Reliable, Decent Gas Efficiency, Reasonably Priced Cons: Small Back Seat, Somewhat Shaky Interior Quality
I bought my 03 Lancer OZ new and am mostly happy with it. It has been my family's only vehicle, and with the odometer at 70,000+ miles there has been no mechanical issues to date. It has lost some of its get up and go, but it still handles well and ...

Imports.. the stylish yet cheap gas milage car making for an excellent buy
by pnut007z ,Jan 31 '05
Pros: sleek styling and excellent 20 mpg Cons: not much room for passengers in the back seats
so far i have had my lancer for about 4 months and i cant honestly say that i havent had any problems with it. It has very good pick up it saves gas and it turns corners on the drop of a dime. There are however a few things about the car that i think you should look into spending a few dollars on. In the winter time i noticed that the windshield wipers that come with the car are not very durable with the ice / snow id recommend getting them replaced. The rear breaks also have a little bit of a sqweak to them after a few months of a use i noticed that i needed to get them checked out. The sleek styling of the car makes for an excellent ride and i would recommend buying one.
