Pros: Power, poise, ride quality, interior materials Cons: Marginal trunk, could be more exciting to look at, could be more fun to drive
The 3-Series finally made sense to me recently. Since the current generation car appeared in 1999 Ive had trouble getting excited about it despite many opportunities to drive the car. Even after the engine and suspension tweaks a couple years ago, ...

Introduction/European Delivery: Could you fathom a better place to take delivery of a 2004 330Ci convertible than in its motherland of Germany? In July I took delivery in Munich (BMW's headquarters) at the factory through the European Tourist ...

Pros: Handling, Acceleration, Styling, Suspension, engine growl Cons: Interior Design, overpriced, design flaws
My friend had wanted a BMW 3-Series Coupe since they came out in 2000. Finally, six months ago he took the plunge and bought himself a new 2004 330ci. As much as he loves driving it, he has had some issues with it, making him almost sorry he had ...

Pros: Worth EVERY penny! Cons: Visor mirrors are unlit.
After 14 LONG years, it was FINALLY time for *my pick. I built my 330ci convertible at BMW's website, agonizing over the color choices, as I had not been able to personally view the Orient Blue paint job with the blue convertible soft top. It would ...

Pros: -Amazing handling.
-Excellent snow car (RWD + snow tires).
-Powerful engine, phenomenal brakes.
-Stunning looking.
Cons: -City gas mileage not great if you drive hard.
-Expensive.
-Occasional envy from other drivers.
Each morning as I start up my 2004 BMW 330i, a smile crosses my face. The exhaust from my Performance Package growls and I look forward to taking the freeway onramp at 5000 rpm in second gear. This is truly the most magnificent car I have ever ...

Pros: Looks, style, handling, options, just about everything Cons: trunk space, gas mileage, price
My friend owns a 330I and I have driven it many times, and I am considering buying it this summer. It is great on turns and rides comfortably, not to mention it looks very classy and sporty. Comparing it to the 325, it is a bit more pricey for just the ...

Pros: Almost perfect balance of performance, comfort, style. Cons: Arguably overpriced, but I am unconvinced of that argument.
I bought my 330 CIC new about 14 months ago. I love the car. It was my first BMW vehicle and I have not been in the least disappointed. In reviewing other comments on the 330, I note that most of the negative ones come from people that are just not ...

Pros: Handling!!!! Handling!!!! Handling!!!! Cons: None to speak of..this is a fantastic driving machine!
I just traded in my 2003 bmw 325 (without the sport package) --which was a great car-- for a 330 (with the sport package), which is an even better car. The new ride is a bit pricier ($6,000 more), but well worth it, even with a disasterous start. I ...

Pros: Handling on dry, wet, or snowy pavement. Active DSC-X, and AWD. Cons: I didn't buy one sooner. No AWD in an M3 version
Like many Bimmer owners, I too took the plunge to invest in what I thought would be a vehicle that would serve my needs in dry, wet, and snowy weather. And was I ever right. First of all, I bought my '04 at the end of the year, when dealers have to ...

BMW 330i w/ Performance Pkg
by willz ,Apr 26 '04
Pros: Handling, power, exterior design, supportive seats Cons: no touch screen GPS, no standard alarm, small trunk/interior space
This is practically one of the best entry-level luxury sedans you can get! The upgrades includes bigger M3 rims, steering wheels, and short shifter with stiffer suspension. If you have the bucks and are still considering between the Infiniti G35 or this, GET THIS. Yet if you have a tight budget, the Infiniti G35 is probably what you should get because it offers pretty much the same thrill and more room with about 7 grand less. Yet, I've got to say those Germans do build "the ultimate driving machine," if not considering space management. The handling was excellent and the you can feel the push of the throttle even when you are in the 6th gear (thanks to the wide torque/hp curve); it has almost no body roll and the tires grip the road like crazy. If they could design the interior and trunk space more efficiently then this would be the best compact sedans ever built.

Excellent car!
by jphigh72 ,Aug 08 '04
Pros: Lot of power, ride quality, stability, acceleration, interior design, free maintenance. Cons: UNITED STATES RIDICULOUS SPEED LIMITS, Small trunk, no panic button, gasoline consumption.
I love my car. The first time I drove it was from Mexico City to Acapulco, a 200 mile wide open highway with no enforced speed limit. That time I reached 140 miles per hour feeling absolutely safe. From that experience I decided to buy my own and I have enjoyed it a lot. Is a great car for traveling with the inconvenience of the United States ridiculous speed limits. If you are not sure of buying a BMW or a Mercedes don't sleep on it buy the BMW while you are young or young at heart, Mercedes are boring cars for old guys.

Solid Reliable High Performance Coupe
by fmodena ,Jan 03 '05
Pros: performance, low cabin noise, good harmon kardon sound system, intuitive ergonomics Cons: none
I bought my 330ci about 4 years ago and has been quite happy with it. No major problems so far at 56,000 miles. Free full maintenance was fully covered up to 50,000 miles. Would I get another BMW? Absolutely!

A beauty of engineering marvel
by migz ,Dec 05 '03
Pros: Stylish, powerful, trademark handling, great distribution, and downright classy. Cons: Not the most spacious, yet still befitting rear cabin.
A great example of a car delivering the amenities of a luxury and sport vehicle. With a 3 liter in-line 6 engine, thrusting to 225 HP you have plenty of power, yet still is in moderate in fuel consumption, a respectable 30 MPG. Some may classify this car as a bit pricey, but the handling, reliability, overall performance, and the stylish good looks make it all worth to the last penny.
