Pros: Comfortable, third row seat, fold out seats, MPG, styling, pep, nice alternative to the minivan. Cons: When the third row seat is up no room for stroller in back
Well, the lease was up on the Explorer so I went looking for a better vehicle for family room. Also something that takes a bite out of George Bush inflated gas prices. An automobile that meets every need that I had with a 15 month old and room to ...

Pros: Great comfort, reasonable mileage, Um, INTERESTING styling Cons: Um, INTERESTING styling, less than stellar performance, but it isn't a race car
What is a Buick Rendezvous? That was my first, though unvoiced question. I was on a vacation to Utah, and the rental car company did not have any of the mid-sized sedans I had reserved in, so they comped me up to the Rendezvous. I vaguely remembered ...

Pros: Comfortable, Elegant style with Buick reliability w/OnStar Cons: None
This is our third Buick Vehicle, after owning a LeSabre and we have a 2001 Century, we decided to stay with Buick and buy the Rendezvous. We spent six months shopping around and test driving the various SUV's, we liked the Hyundai, Sante Fe, but when ...

Pros: Comfort, AWD, and available Options. Cons: Gas mileage, Interior could be a bit more refined.
After buying a 2004 Rendezvous CXL I regretfully read the two reviews here on Epinions. To say that I was dishearten would be an understatement. So to add perhaps a somewhat positive spin on this SUV 'wannabe I will give our opinion/epinion after 2 ...

Pros: Handling, Smooth Ride, Comfortable Seating, Many Optional Packages Cons: Small Engine, Bad Heat/Cool System,
Because most of the other reviewers have already given some good information about the overall handling and performance of the vehicle, I will focus more on the available "packages/extras" of the 2004 Rendezvous and the things not pertaining to the ...

Pros: Styling, Roominess, Handling, XM, XM, XM. Cons: Large side view mirrors, sliding on leather seats
I bought my Buick Rendezvous in July. I drive it on vacations and short distances. I love the styling of this car. It handles well, and provides all the room I need to cart my two kids and their friends from here to there and back again. It starts ...

Pros: The steering is responsive, the suspension system surprisingly firm, and the throttle response adequate Cons: Maybe too pricey for some
A recent visit to the Buick Web site at http://www.buick.com/rendezvou
s/gallery_interior.jsp
revealed that Buick has corrected what I identified as a "fatal flaw" in the earlier 2004 Rendezvous. The previously illegible font and designer lighting of t...

Rendezvous
by kaceye ,Mar 18 '07
Pros: It keeps us safe and is economical. Cons: With all seating in place there is not much storage space.
I love this vehicle. It looks like a SUV, but it is not. It is lighter so it can get 33 miles to the gallon on the interstate. It handles like a dream in any weather. It offers OnStar and can tell you how much gas or oil you have left. Tons of room and you can make more by easily removing some of the seating. We have discussed getting a new vehicle. I wouldn't mind having two Rendezvouses. I feel safe driving with my children in any weather and I haven't found that in any other automobile.

Good and bad
by bgmik1313 ,Feb 06 '06
Pros: Very luxurious Cons: Will not drive straight
I recently purchased a 2004 Ultra All wheel drive. I have had it 3 weeks and I have had it in the shop twice. It was supposed to be a Certified Used Vehicle. The dealer ship had to do an alignment the first time and the second time they had to put new tires on it,and it still pulls off the road to the right. The interior is nice,it has the wood grain and the heated seats(my wife's favorite),it also has the XM and the OnStar. We love the truck but I do not like the fact that it drives itself off the road.I have talked to 1 lady that owned a 2002 AWD and it pulls to the left. Can anyone tell me if this is happening to them?I do not even have my regular plates on it yet and I have to take it back to the shop again. Not Happy!!!!!!!

Buick Rendevous - love it
by glassofwater ,May 20 '04
Pros: Heads Up instrumentation display. Visibility out of all the seats. Cons: Gas mileage is not as high as reported on EPA sticker.
We've only owned our Rendevous for four weeks but are absolutely loving it. Here are some caveats:
- We ordered the Rendevous Ultra
- We ordered it with the new bigger engine. (I've read reviews of the 2003 which some considered underpowered.)
- We ordered it without the suede panels on the seats ( these seem like terrible dirt traps)
The ride is fantastic.
The visibility of the instrumentation is fantastic - this car actually has a heads up display that projects up onto the windsheild all the info you want - it'll even show you the name of the song playing on the radio. Really excellent.
We find the pick up to be perfect for this kind of vehicle. It's not a barn burner - so I would imagine it's too slow with the standard engine.
The look of the car is great. I don't know where else you can get a car that seats 6 and doesn't look like an SUV barge.
Brakes, handling, comfort.... all great.
We got it withthe XM radio package. Utterly amazing. I;m going to retrofit my older car with it. The speaker system in the Rendevous is way above average.

Rendezvous - maximum interior space and seating , with Buick ride
by robertepfeiffe ,Oct 11 '04
Pros: Buick ride and handling,7 passenger seating, and comfort and convenience options. Cons: Rear styling is not attractive.
This vehicle has the most interior space and seating we could find in a cross over SUV. The features and ride are all Buick, soft but responsive. Our vehicle has heated, leather memory seats, attractive wood trim and a DVD player. Traction control and ABS brakes plus side air bags are great safety features we wanted.

2004 Buick Rendezvous
by loridobson34 ,Jan 23 '04
Pros: It has a good engine! Cons: The seating could be improved!
The engine has a 3.4L V-6 185 Horse Power. The transmission is a 4-speed auto. The fuel economy is about 19.0 mpg in the city, in which is not too bad. Also on the high way it is about 26.0 mpg. I find it is also nice and quiet on the road! It may not be the nicest looking vehicle out there, but it will get you to where you are going!
