Pros: Unlimited options, seats 9 COMFORTABLY, Smooth & Quiet ride, Easy to park. *see update* Cons: Gas mileage. Onstar, phone, XM subscriptions get expensive but worth it during an emergency.
Summary: What's so impressive about this SUV? EVERYTHING! It was finally time to trade my 99 Durango. I was a little reluctant to move up to a 'full size' SUV until I drove the 2004 Tahoe. My main priorities with any vehicle are safety, sharp turning radius ... read more

Pros: Teched out, XM,Onstar,DVD, very comfortable Cons: None yet, gas probably wont be as good, but common people, its a V8.
Summary: WOW!!! is all I have to say about this vehicle. I just drove off the lot and got rear ended on the CA N 605 FWY in the fast lane--if anyone spots the hit N run teenage driver, he was in a Gray Dodge Neon license plate # 4AMT... I dont know the rest, but ... read more

Pros: onstar, retractable mirrors Cons: gas mileage
Summary: I recently started shopping for a new vehicle and one of the most impressive I have driven so far is the 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe. This has to be one of the quietest SUV's on the road today. It is almost soundproof. There really is virtually no road ... read more

Pros: Towing capabilities, ride, leather quality, electronics. Cons: GAS HOG
Summary: I was looking for a good pulling vehicle for a heavy boat (4500#) I narrowed down my selection to the Toyota Sequoia and the Tahoe. I usually will pay extra for the usually superior workmanship and durability of the foreign vehicles but I figured I ... read more

Pros: Agility, comfort, fit and finish. And MPG!! Cons: Roof rack too close to the top of the truck, hard to wash.
Summary: The maneuverability of this SUV is unbelievable, the turning radius is unmatched! I've read a number of reviews with the biggest 'con' being gas mileage. Ours has every option except navigation, and we consistently get 15.6 in city driving, and 20.7

Pros: Rock solid, comfort, Z71 off-road capable, dependable, does it all Cons: Price, needs a little more ground clearance for off road
Summary: On the road, it is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven in it's class. I get 16-18 mpg at 75 and 80 mph. We drive in lots of snow and off-road areas and it is rock solid. The Z71 package takes us all over Utah where only jeeps are supposed to

Pros: powerful engine;roomy interior Cons: better gas mileage would be nice
Summary: This truck is awesome. Fun to drive. I just make up an excuse to go to the store just so I can drive my tahoe. The power, size, and the Z71 package are great. Our 96 explorer sport was getting too small for our family (me, my husand, and two growing kids)

Pros: Lots of Room, safe, stylish Cons: gas mileage isn't the greatest, but the safety factor outweighs the gas, in my opinion.
Summary: I have had a Tahoe and a Suburban since 1997. Both have impressed me. I drive the 2004 Tahoe for my job, and I enjoy the safety factor, style, features and room. I carry clients all over town, with their families, and the Tahoe is always

Summary: We wanted another larger SUV for our growing family whereas the Accord and the Jimmy was not doing the job anymore. Test drove the Tahoe and found that it was a very smooth and comfortable ride. Kids are far enough apart where they don't fight as much

Pros: Reliability, comfort. Cons: Gas usage and squeak in rear windshield wiper.
Summary: My business partner bought a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe. We are always on the road making deliverys. I know how some people claim SUV's are bad but the Tahoe is an exception. Together we manage a small freight business and we needed a highway vehicle that cou
