Pros: Distinctive show car styling, acceleration in SRT6, exhaust note Cons: Heavy doors, steering could be sharper, poor rear visibility, limited storage capacity
When DaimlerChrysler was first formed the official line was that Mercedes and Chrysler products would remain distinct and that product platforms and powertrains would not be shared. Maybe that was the actual intent of the firms executives as well. ...

Pros: Styling, great balance of performance and economy, quality of paint and finish. Cons: More road noise than I expected
My wife has a Volvo and I love that car too, but this Crossfire is the first car I've owned that I have had zero complaints about. It looks great and has the best paint job I have every seen. I bought this car used and have had it for 18 months and 20k ...

The more I drive it the better I like it..
by jim67 ,Sep 20 '05
Pros: See above... Cons: See above...
Just completed a long (1600 miles) trip...I averaged 31.71mpg!
I am currently leasing it...Having owned a porsche and having to pay excessive maintenance bills for that German car, I am still hesitant to fully accept this German car...time will tell.
Everything - Style, comfort, driveability, visibility, etc, - is everything I could ever want from a sports/touring car.
Because I like the Honda S2000 and the Mazda MX-5, when the lease on this Crossfire is up in 2007, I will make a choice between it, the Honda or Mazda, and possibly the Pontiac Solstice, based solely on reliability and maintenance costs...
But, after driving this Crossfire for 1 1/2 years, I Truly Love This Car!

Awesome car
by tsaoti ,Dec 12 '03
Pros: Great bang for the buck; most folks think it's a $50K car; awesome, aggressive styling. Cons: Could use a V8 (but at what cost); no sunroof; cupholder is designed poorly.
The styling is such a head-turner...I actually wasn't expecting this much attention though! The radical design screams rear-wheel power, especially when the rear wing pops up above 57mph. The bicep shaped (reverse-teardrop actually) roof gives plenty of headroom for up to a 6' driver. Any taller and you should rethink the fit. The engine could use a bit more power, but it is just fine for most folks. A V8 would give it a distinctive edge over all others in class. Otherwise, this is a great car. I find myself wanting to take the long route and finding excuses to go to the furthest location of a store just so I can get in a few minutes on the freeway. What a joy to drive, almost the perfect touring machine (only a BMW M5 would be better!).

I love this car!
by peaceboy ,Apr 07 '05
Pros: Value for money, good resale, attention grabber and NOT a generic Cons: need to get use to the large c pillar
This is THE care to have. It is so elegant and fast! My friend owns a slk and we parked side by side for comparison. They have almost the same interior and my X-Fire looks better ;)
The auto-transmission option is a MUST to fully enjoy the smoothly, power and fuel economy of this car.
