Pros: Extremely comfortable seating and smooth drive for larger people. Cons: It requires 89 octane fuel. Needs more mpg and less hp.
Summary: I've owned a 2004 Pacific for a year. It is a midgrade model with the 3.5 litre 300m motor but with cloth seats. I consider the vehicle a station wagon rather that a truck. My family took the Pacifica on a 3,400 mile vacation this summer from NC ... read more

Pros: Tremendous value for the $. Looks great, Room for 6 and the feel of luxury. Cons: A lemon. Other experienced problems too. May be a money pit in future year.
Summary: First let me start by saying that I was a little weary of buying American made once again. It took me a while to compare all SUV's and the Pacifica seems like a great value for the money. That is why I decided to give american made 1 more chance. Boy ... read more

Pros: Beautiful car, interior room, tight handling, and smooth riding Cons: Gas mileage, and small back window.
Summary: I bought my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica with about 20000 miles on it and got a great deal. I traded in a 04 Toyota Rav4 because it just seemed cramped for my family of four. We are definately not cramped now. We have plenty of interior room to enjoy. I ... read more

Summary: My mother purchased the 2005 Pacifica in Butane Blue. I have had the pleasure of being in the car both as a passenger and driver. This is my perspective of the car: Lots of Room for storage space and passengers. This is why my mother chose this car ... read more

Pros: Price (rebates), style, comfort, luxury Cons: Fuel economy, maybe needs a few more horses or a revision to the torque curve.
Summary: We have now had our 2004 Pacifica AWD for about 5 weeks. My wife and I looked into this as an alternative to a SUV or minivan (we are expecting our first child and felt we needed more room than our Taurus offered). We were able to get the dealer to ... read more

Pros: Nice style, very comfortable front seats. Quiet ride. Analog clock. Good driver seat adjustments, Cons: Dangerously poor vision, very weak engine, nowhere to put carry-on items, poorly designed rear space.
Summary: My wife and I have been renting a 2004 Pacfiica for a month. It handles well, generally. The steering feels firm and responsive, the brakes work. The turning circle is a little large, so parking it between other cars is a little more awkward than ... read more

Summary: 3/4 UPDATE PROVIDED UNDER: UPDATE We were in the market for another new vehicle. I did a lot of homework. We've always purchased Japanese auto's as we've become accustom to their modern design, quality materials, ride, and reliability. We have ... read more

Pros: Styling, comfort, especially standard equipment, functionality (clearance, driver height, cargo) Cons: Lack of Power! Radio reception, MPG, visibility to sides/rear, tinted window too dark.
Summary: I have less than 750 miles on my new 2004 Pacifica. My 7 passenger 1995 TransSport is still in the driveway, waiting for a new home. The following comments may be useful particularly to those downsizing from a large minivan. First let me say that I ... read more

Pros: Terrific looks, interior quality and comfort, convenience features, safety (third-row airbags), versatility, finally buying American Cons: Two chairs in second row makes two child seats difficult; horrible gas mileage, expensive insurance.
Summary: I bought a Pacifica for my wife as we were looking for a third row of seating and the versatility of a minivan, without the minivan stigma (my wife refuses to drive a minivan), and we never go offroad. So I guess you could say we were the target markket ... read more

Pros: Big, solid feeling vehicle with THE most comfortable back seat in automotive history! Cons: Oh my God! I bought a Chrysler! Touchy electronics..and lot's of 'em
Summary: The valet at the Chateau on the Lake (Branson, MO) asked "what kind of car is this?" I replied that it was a Chrysler. "You're much too young to be driving a Chrysler" he said...I just turned 50, so I needed that! But I was puzzled. He was right..I ... read more

Pros: Overall performance and handling good. DVD system had very nice picture quality and sound. Cons: Rear view challenging, but not bad. Radio reception could have been better.
Summary: I just recently test drove a Pacifica here in Wiesbaden Germany, and must say that I enjoyed it. Although I read over 50 plus reviews on the Internet regarding poor acceleration and poor rear vision. I was pleased with the performance the vehicle ... read more

Pros: Handling, styling, seating luxury, braking, autostick, flexibility, dvd. Cons: Slightly Underpowered, wider rear doors, little noisy over bumps, DVD screen too small.
Summary: We traded my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee for the Pacifica, looking for more seating versatility. Here's what I like and don't (but I must say there are very few don'ts). I like the handling. It drives more like a sport sedan than anything else. The ... read more

Pros: Very cool looks, handling, 3rd row seat fold-down, tons of usable options, AWESOME NAVIGATION SYSTEM Cons: Gas Mileage, build quality, Thin carpeting, shaky reliability, so far. Climate controls confusing.
Summary: Let me start with the fact that I am somewhat of a car nut. We have had an SUV before they called them that(1976 Blazer). We have owned Honda, Audi, Porsche, Benz, BMW, Lincoln, Cadillac, you name it. We traded in our 1999 Ford Expedition, Eddie Bauer, ... read more

Pros: Driving Position/Ergonomics - Oustanding seating for four adults - Excellent fee for AWD vehicle Cons: Difficult to back up - poor gas mileage - water in rear door sills.
Summary: As Chrysler advertises - I'm not sure what it is - although my local car wash charges me the extra "suv" fee. I previously owned both mini vans and mid-sized suvs. The lines of the vehicle are much more attractive than the mini van, and the ride feel an ... read more
