We recently purchased a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD Ext. Cab, Long box, with the Duramax, and Allison Transmission.

All we can say is wow. While we've had it for less then a month, everything about it is excellent.

The duramax is very strong, without being to loud, and the Allison Transmission is so smooth, you can barely tell when it shifts.
