Pros: Stylish, sporty, reliable economy car at an excellent price. Cons: Resale value depreciates a lot faster than other car-makers.
Summary: A few years back I started to notice that Hyundai wasn't making the junky econoboxes I grew up with. Back then, buying a Hyundai was paramount to living in a trailer park; everybody knew you must have been struggling to not be able to afford something ... read more

Pros: Still drives like a small car, but is really a family sized vehicle. Cons: 2 years later, still can't think of one. Warranty is about to run out?
Summary: This website really helped me while shopping, so I thought I'd return the favour. I ended up buying a Hyundai Elantra VE after looking at a Kia (new car that felt like a used car) and a Pontiac Sunfire. I'd driven a Cavalier before so the Sunfire was ... read more

Pros: Longest warranty in the market, no major recalls Cons: Overcoming old reputation for "junkiness"
Summary: I bought this car as an Xmas present for my wife. We already own a '99 Accent and had no complaints except that it was getting small as the kids grow. We originally bought the Accent because of we could take the dealer to the cleaners due to a ... read more

Pros: Many standard features, especially side air bags. Cons: Foul smell when you first turn on air conditioner (same as in the Accent)
Summary: I had a black 2 door 2003 Hyundai Accent for about a year, which I loved, but it was just a little too small. I upgraded to a black 4 door 2004 Elantra and love it even more! Everyone knows about the great warranty that Hyundai provides, so that is ... read more

Pros: Value. Nothing else can touch it there.
Sound system
Stowage space Cons: Thin paint
Could use 10-15 more horses
requires Tiburon sway bar for 'spirited' driving
Summary: I have a confession to make. I drive a Hyundai... two of them, since 2001 - the first car I owned was a 1995 Sonata that I bought with 98,998 miles on it the month I graduated from college. That happened to be the same month that the first Elantra GT ... read more

Pros: style, comfort, quiet Cons: just recovering from a bad reputation in the 80s
Summary: All I can say is Honda better watch out for companies like Hyundai and Kia who are producing good quality, stylish, and good value cars. I have a 2004 Elantra GT that is great. I wasn't crazy about getting a Hyundai, but after I drove it, and compared

Pros: Nice car for the price. Gas mileage was great at first. Cons: Poor suspension, poor transmission, unknown vibration, dealer unwilling to address problems.

Summary: I have this car in black, and it's really nice. It's reliable. Be careful with the gas, it speeds up pretty fast. Recently, one of the front headlights went out, but since it's still on warranty, it's okay. It's small, cozy, and comfy. Even

Pros: Looks (GT Hatchback), value, comfort, warranty Cons: Resell/trade-in value(?)
Summary: This Hyundai is for real. You get a lot for your $14,500 - leather, Kenwood CD/MP3 player, sunroof, etc... (in the GT). The engine is responsive - not a barn burner but with great gas mileage. Very comfortable - large back seat for a car of this class.

Summary: Definitely get the 5 speed GT Hatchback. It's amazing what you get standard in this car at this price. The ride is quiet and smooth. Plenty of horsepower and fun to drive. This car is a steal. A must see for sure if your looking at cars under 20k.
