Pros: Lots of stuff for the price, luxury car garnishing, energetic powertrain Cons: Dated styling, looks and feels downscale compared to Kia Amanti, fuel economy, rear seat marginal
Years before they introduced large, luxurious cars to the American market both Japanese and Korean vehicle manufacturers sold such cars in their home markets. The reason for withholding these cars from the American market was simple: the Asian domestic ...

Pros: More standard features than are offered as options on other cars. Cons: A few quirks but no cons.
OVERVIEW We bought our 2004 XG350L in August after my wife drove the old Buick for nearly 20 years. I have held off writing a review for a while to make sure we could appreciate everything about the car and be objective in the review. I feel many ...

Pros: Ride, engine, warranty, price, amenities Cons: Ac/radio display lighting
We brought our new XG350L about six weeks ago and just concluded a 2,200-mile trip. It gave us everything we expected and more. Certainly there are a few additional amenities we'd like to have, but there were no bad surprises - nothing advertised that ...

Pros: Interior quality, ride, price, included options, warranty Cons: Front cup holders, turning radius, wind shieldwipers blades
I now have 14,000 miles on my black XG 350L and Im still convinced I got the best car in its class. Honda, Toyota, Nissan or any domestic car doesnt come close for value and quality. The only things I can think to complain about are the front cup ...

Pros: Comfort, Ride, Standard Equipment, and Value. Cons: Rear seat Room, Slow Shifting Transmission, Infinity Stereo.
This is my first Hyundai. I previously drove a 2002 Maxima SE. Actually I have only driven Nissans prior to this car. I have to tell ya, this 2004 XG350L is a great car. I bought this car mainly because I car pool ( a lot of HWY driving), and this ...

Pros: Well, my wife really likes it. So, I'll leave it at that. Cons: Poor handling. Rather dangerous braking. Poor ergonomics.
I'd agree with almost all the prior reviewers regarding the aesthetics of the Hyundai XG350. For the cost, it's got the plushiest interior, and great features like heated seats, moonroof, dual driver memory settings, etc. My gripe with this car is ...

Pros: Real nice drive; surprising quality; fantastic warranty; great purchase experience. Cons: So-so fuel economy; speakers just OK; manual lumbar support control; very basic keyless remote.
Well, we just bought a Hyundai. A few years ago, I wouldn't be caught dead in one. Why? Because I was seriously injured in a car crash as a teen, and am very, very careful about the cars I drive. Plus, I put a high personal premium on quality. ...

Pros: Warranty lasts as long as the payments...and then some...Hyundai=biggest bang for the buck...by FAR! Cons: Worse MPG than other makes. Trip computer should calculate MPG. CD player should play MP3s.
I just bought a 2004 XG350L Monday and it is FANTASTIC. PLENTY of power and every option I could possibly need or want! I did not jump into this purchase on blind faith. I bought my older daughter the Elantra GLS in '01. It had some flaking of paint ...

Hyundai XG350L has proven to be excellent . Good gas mileage and reliable performance.
by de0636 ,Dec 27 '04
Pros: Smooth reliable automobile with bells and whistles I value. More than sufficient power and amenities. Cons: The console lights could be a bit brighter on high glare days.
I purchased my 2004 XG350L in March of 2004. By year's end I will have 30,000 miles on it. Not a single hiccup during the time, not a backache and good gas mileage. I have found the controls to be convenient, the automatic heating and air to be perfect, the leather seats durable, the trunk accommodating and the ride great. There is sufficient power and on the odd occasion I use the manual feature, I feel as if I need driving gloves. All together, I delightful, reliable driving experience.

OH YEAH BABY

Pros: EVERYTHING seriously Cons: None
My wife and I bought this car in July of 2004. We simply love it. We were considering the Pontiac Grand Prix and went to the dealership to test drive one. I asked about the warranty on the Pontiac, the salesman said jokingly, "5 min 5 miles." Needless to say we left that day and never returned. I can't afford to constantly repair cars so warranty was a big issue. I think the purchase of this car was the best choice we've made. We have not had any problems whatsoever and we have over 25,000 miles on it.
