Pros: Price,Styling,Handling,Power,Fun to drive Cons: Non-Upgradeable stereo system,
I Love my car! I waited about four years until I finally graduated from college to purchase my 2004 Volcanic Red Mazda 6s 5door. I followed the development of the 6 from the get go, and knew it was the right car for me. The price was significantly lower ...

Pros: Sporty, reliable, FAST, comfortable, lot's of cargo room! Cons: Cheap seat material. Expensive tires.
We bought our 2004 Mazda 6 wagon 2 years ago and have loved it. We needed a "family" car but we wanted something sporty as well. This car look's great and is fast. We do alot of highway driving and being able to speed up quick is great. We also ...

Pros: Design, value, features, sport look and feel, also feels fast. Cons: SUSPENSION & TIRES STINK.
I was excited to get my Mazda 6. Got the top of the line with all the bells and whistles. The car is very attractive, seemingly well constructed, made in the USA by the UAW, nice sporty looks and good features for the price. So what went wrong? My ...

Pros: Style. Engine. Bose sound system with subwoofer and a 6 CD changer. Cons: Shifter position is a little awkward, specially in 2nd and 4th (my right shoulder 'tuck-in').
Bought the Mazda6 V6s on August 27, 2004 (Friday). Took delivery at around 7pm and thus didn't even notice that the right front fender and part of the passenger side door's color was off (the one I bought was the Glacier Silver Metallic)...not until the ...

This Is Best Served With ALL The Whistles and Bells!
by digitalduck ,Feb 02 '07
Pros: The Traction Control System Does A GREAT JOB! Cons: The Steering Radius takes a little time to get used to.
We have the 2004 Mazda6 - 6 cylinder with the Sports and Luxury packages Sure! It was a bit more to begin with; but WELL WORTH IT!
You get the sporty look with the leather trim interior. My wife likes the heated seats and I like zip and go that this car has (tried the 4 cyl. - not something I wanted my wife to drive). ... and when it comes to Mazda Safety Features: It still seems to be up to snuff with the days when it was an import! Between the braking system and traction control system - this car is good for the less experienced drivers! It seems as though Mazda made the steering safer for those who may over correct in an adverse situation. This makes it a little less friendly in tight shopping center parking lots. All this means is that you have to swing a little wider it pop into a space! .... NO BIG DEAL!

I love my Mazda 6 diesel !
by philipsi ,Jan 18 '05
Pros: looks, interior, Cons: sensitive plastics on interior
Just bought a Mazda 6 estate diesel, it is a 2liter engine, 120bhp and 320Nm of torque.
The only thing I don't like about it is that the interior plastics are very sensitive to scratches, even if you touch it with a carton box while loading stuff, you risk scratching the plastic, besides that GREAT car.

In Love with My Car!
by strmlvr ,Sep 12 '04
Pros: Sporty, sleek, fun, roomy! Cons: Brake dust, brake dust, brake dust! Do other cars have this problem?
I have had this car for a little over a month and I love it. This is my 4th Mazda and I have always had terrific luck with them. I love absolutely everything about this car (by far the nicest one I've ever owned) except for one minor thing. Brake dust! My car is the Mazda 6i,redfire with the beige luxury package, sports package and the Bose audio package. I had the dealer put a moonroof in mine since that is a must for me. Have I mentioned that I LOVE MY CAR! There is storage in the dash, glove box and console with lots of room in the trunk. The back seat is comfortable. (I actually let my husband drive and rode 350 miles in the back) The Bose speakers kick butt! This 4 cylinder has lots of get up and go.

Mazda 6i awesome, sporty, practical
by bwinstead82 ,May 31 '04
Pros: ride, comfort, steering wheel controls, styling. Cons: brake dust.
I just recently purchased a 2004 mazda 6i series with the 4 cylinder and 4 speed auto-stick transmission. I also had the sport appearance package added. I don't think I could have made a better decision on buying a car. Being a 22 year old sporty was a must. This car gets a lot of looks from others. The 4 cylinder has plenty of power for the every day driver and is especially quick in the higher rpm ranges. The auto stick makes it a true sports car in manual mode (you shift gears, just no clutch). The center console has all of your controls along with a lot of them also on the steering wheel (great idea). The absolute greatest part of this car is the ride quality. It handles like a sports car, but rides like a cadillac. Also the quietness of the interior is incredible. This car is a must have for anyone looking for a good size car with a sporty feel.

2005 Mazda 6 5 Door Hatchback
by hanleysdad ,Feb 11 '05
Pros: Zippiness, looks, comfort, price Cons: Seat warmers inconsistent
This is the most fantastic car that I have ever owned!!!! I have over 2000 miles on the vehicle and it is phenomenal! The speed and pick up is amazing (it lives up to "zoom zoom"). The comfort of the seats and the ease of driving makes you feel really safe. This car really hugs the road (and the driver at the same time).
I initially was looking for a Nissan Altima. I had driven one as a rental when my van was in the shop. But, once I drove the 6, I was sold. The difference in price was substantial and the rebates and offers from Mazda only made it better.
I highly recommend this car! The only thing that I have found thus far that I wish they would change is that the seat warmers have only 1 setting (and they get very hot). Once the seat reaches a certain temperature, though, they turn off. They will come back on, but it makes for an uneven distribution of heat.
