Pros: Mazda bullet-proof reliability, good gas mileage for a vehicle this size.
Cons: Seat comfort, lousy ventilation controls

Summary: We've had our 04 ES for just over a year and put on 18,000 miles. Good mileage, great in the rain and snow, without a single mechanical problem. I would definitely buy another one, especially when looking at the dollar value! My complaints are all on ... read more

Pros: Attractive, affordable, perfect size, "zoomy"
Cons: Lousy customer service, less-than-ideal gas mileage

Summary: Let me say first that I do like my 2005 Tribute s. It's very attractive and fun to drive. But I've only had it three weeks and it's already in the shop. Let me tell you my story: We purchased our Tribute from Lou Bachrodt Mazda in Coconut Creek FL on ... read more

  • Why did I buy this junk?

Pros: Just the right size. Feels good on the highway.
Cons: Poor build quality, horrible in the snow, poor repair quality, weird gas peddle, only 13mpg.

Summary: I regret buying my 2004 Mazda Tribute. I was looking for a 4 wheel-drive SUV to replace my '93 Toyota 4Runner. I'm glad I haven't sold my 4Runner yet. At least I still have one predictable driving vehicle to drive in the winter. I live in eastern ... read more

Cons: Too much wind/road noise at high speeds; not able to select AC source (interior/exterior)

Summary: Besides offering the best value and a solid, stylish, reliable vehicle, the Mazda Tribute offers the widest range and best combinations of options of any small - midsize SUV. If you're most concerned about fuel economy and price, then get the standard ... read more

  • I bought my 2004 Mazda Tribute new and I still have it...still love it.

    Sep 25 '10
Pros: Looks good; comfortable; peppy; inside storage of spare tire
Cons: Unilluminated cruise control buttons; no audio controls in steering wheel; wind noise

Summary: I bought my 2004 Mazda Tribute new and I have never had any mechanical problems with it. There were a couple minor recalls that the dealership replaced with no problem--rear door latch and accelerator cable (I think). It's roomy and comfortable on the

    Pros: comfort,looks,mileage
    Cons: none

Summary: I love this car. It has great mileage for an SUV, about 20-25 mpg. It has lots of power and great towing capacity. It is really comfortable and haven't had any problems. I used to drive a van but i decided to get something smaller and this was perfect.
