Although I had found the Maxima great fun in previous years, a test drive of the 2003 (my review can be found he

found it terribly dated. The suspension in particular lacked the composure that has come to ...
My Experience I test-drove a Nissan Maxima SE 6-speed at a local dealership. My test drive lasted about half an hour and covered city streets, freeways, and a huge empty parking lot that served as an impromptu autocross course. ...
Pros: Upscale looks, powerful engine, comfortable and attractive interior. Cons: Noticeable torque steer, small dash buttons. Body roll in turns (SL model)
The Nissan Maxima has come a long way. For 2004, this will be the sixth generation for the car. It has evolved from a compact family car to a sporty, yet luxurious people mover. The previous generation Maxima was criticized for having funky...
Pros: Nissan again defined the Sport Sedan category, without trying to compete with BMW or Acura. Cons: Pretty gadget happy - lots of buttons and other controls.
My early impressions, which I will update later, as needed: OVERVIEW This new Maxima offers an amazing amount of content, or features, for the money. Yes, it is a lot of money, and yes, Nissan has done their homework. Carrying the tradition ...
Pros: Legroom, Amenities, Off the line acceleration, Headlights, Ride Quality Cons: Price, Tires, Headroom
As one reviewer mentioned, this version (A34) is the 6th generation of the Nissan Maxima. Like the A33 (2000-2003), the styling definitely has to grow on you. The rear lines of the car are quite attractive. The design actually flows nicely from that ...
Pros: LOOKS LOOKS LOOKS, stylish and modern interior, power, reputation of the engine Cons: Bose system could be better, but that's about it so far!
I've owned this car just over a month, and I'm very very pleased with it so far. For starters, the look of the car is completely different from any past Maxima models, so different in fact that people have trouble figuring out what it is, especially sinc ...
Pros: Power,Handling,Exterior,INTERIOR(and no its not complicated) Cons: TorqueSteer (which i have noticed on all front wheel cars)
Its an amazing car.. ive had it for about 3 months, no problems at all, I test drove the acura TL, G35, Camry and the 300c. First of the TL, it felt like an accord and the interior isnt as appealing, legroom is non existent for the rear passengers unless ...
I purchased a new 04 Maxima in July and I have had several problems with the car. On my drive home from the dealership, I noticed that the car would not shift smoothly into third gear and would grind if trying to shift above 3000 rpm. After being told to ...
Pros: New styling and roomier interior. High horsepower engine. Cons: Engine problems.
I recently purchased a new (2004)Maxima. The commercials suckered me in to taking a closer look at a dealership and the dealer worked him magic and BAM, I am driving a new Maxima. I will try to give you a honest review. I have had a couple of problems ...
Pros: Wonderful exterior, better suspension, power Cons: interior
I'm a previous owner of the 2002 Maxima SE so I can provide some comparisons. Two negatives with the 2002 Maxima have been addressed in the this Maxima, rear end styling and rear suspension. The interior, however, was a clear downgrade. Pros: ...
Pros: Impressive styling
Awesome engine Cons: Rides like a freight train, and sounds almost like one too.
I bought this car because of its flashy looks and nice interior. These are plusses. However, the horrible ride, sub-par handling, and other small annoyances make the car almost unbearable. During the 10 minute testdrive I didn't notice that the drive ...
more you drive it the less you will like it by maximabad ,Oct 14 '03
Pros: good looks Cons: steering wheel shakes too much
Amazing how so many gauges can be blocked when the steering wheel is in a comfortable position. (fuel gauge, top of Speedometer, turn signals) Buttons on dash are too small & they all look & feel alike. Front end shimmies on many roads. Feels like tires are out of balance.
Looks more expensive then it is! by johnnyut ,Oct 06 '04
Pros: strong 3.5 V6, no body roll, nice lines, huge truck Cons: road noise
One of the first things someone told me when I was showing off at work and telling them what I paid was that "it looks a lot more expensive then what you paid." I bought the SE with the 6 speed transmission. It was hard to find with the options that we wanted but I feel it was worth the wait. The 6 speeds are rare. Very good fit and finish! I have read others criticizing the size saying that it is to big but that was a major selling point for us. I didn't have to settle for a Chevy Impala or Ford Taurus to fit 5 people. For a car of it's size it can really perform when asked! The SE suspension is good and bad. It's great for handling but you really feel the bumps in the road.
Pros: Great body, lots of trunk space, very roomy interior, comfy seats, kickin stereo! Cons: The windshield wiper knob are too sensitive, shifting seems a little fast for an automatic.
Great Sexy Looks, Comfy seats, great stereo! I drive 85 miles round trip to work and I never get tired of driving. This is my first automatic car but I love the new shifting option- it's great for speed on the freeway! I honestly have no complaints. I'm glad I didn't get the Altima!
Pros: SEXY LOOKS , PERFORMANCE, 5 SPEED AUTO, NAV SYSTEM - HEATED SEATS AND STEERING WHEEL Cons: Nav system complicated - road noise and wind noise
GREAT BANG FOR THE BUCK - FULLY LOADED WITH NAV AND STILL UNDER 33K - LOOKED AT EVERY BMW AUDI LEXUS CADILLAC MB JAG - NO BETTER CAR FOR THE MONEY - JOURNEY PKG - BLACK ON BLACK SE WITH THE 18' RIMS
