The all-new 2004 Nissan Maxima is now built on the same platform as the Altima. The Maxima is available in two model trims: SE and SL. The exterior has been restyled and the engine has been revamped in order to produce 265 hp and 255 lb-ft of torque. A glass Skyview roof runs along the roofline giving passengers a panoramic view of the sky. A sporty six-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic with manual shift are available on the SE. The SL comes standard with a four-speed automatic transmission. A power moonroof, rear spoiler, Helical limited slip differential, and Vehicle Dynamic Control with full size spare tire are the only optional features not already included in a package. Other port installed options are also available. |
