Pros: Style/design, standard options, performance, versatility, quality, stereo, most controls, colors... Cons: Moon roof controls, seats...
Intro I was considering buying RAV4 since it first came to the U.S. market in '97-'98. From the very beginning, its style was different from other SUV's, but although it appealed to me, when I took a ride in my friend's car, I was disappointed by ...
Pros: Quick responsive acceleration and handling. Sporty. Cons: Legroom in the rear for adults.
A quick introduction to my reviews: I am new to the area of reviewing vehicles. I will mostly do Toyota, JEEP, and Volkswagen. Please, help me help you by letting me know how my reviews meet or fail to meet your expectations. I will not go into ...
Pros: ABS Standard, great gas mileage, Toyota Reliability & Resale Value Cons: I'm still looking.
It has been a couple months since we traded in our junk 2000 Dodge Neon for the 2004 Toyota Rav4. I've been trying to find little things that I don't like about the Rav4. The first thing that was bothering me was the middle back seatbelt was ...
Pros: Refined powerful engine; handling, interior, finish, ergonomics, storage, visibility, Toyota reliability, value. Cons: Seat shape and controls. That's it.
As I just leased this November of '03, my review is based on just over a month with this new (and improved) '04. First things first - the engine. Wow. The original RAV4's were underpowered and buzzy. This new 161 HP engine is smooth, quick and does ...

After doing a lot of homework my wife and I decide to buy another vehicle (mostly for her use), since we already own a AWD vehicle (Mitsubishi Evo IX) and we love how it performs and looks, the only natural thing to do is buy something with the same ...
Pros: Great style, plenty of room, and nice handling!! Cons: Poor gas mileage, weak engine, almost impossible to restore after an accident.
I bought my 2004 Rav 4 S in Jan 2004, which was completely loaded, with running boards, moonroof, tow pkg. etc. I have wanted a Rav 4 since they started making them but when I saw the 2004, I knew it was time to get one!! I have loved this car for a ...
You won't regret buying one. by jphigh72 ,Aug 08 '04
Pros: Ride quality, gas consumption, trouble free, affordable, nice looks. Cons: Lacks power
This is the first japanese car i have ever tried and it has overtaken my expectations. This vehicle belongs to my wife and it was chosen by her regardless my advice to buy the new small SUV from BMW which we found deceiving when we visited the dealership due to the poor quality of the interiors. I have enjoyed riding the Toyota and I sincerely recommend it. The only bad thing is that it lacks power, but is not so bad considering the RIDICULOUS SPEED LIMITS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
