| For 2004, Volvo introduces a new model to the V70 lineup. The V70 is now offered in six models: 2.4, 2.5T, 2.5T AWD, XC2.5T AWD, T5, and the new R AWD. The R AWD is powered by a turbocharged 2.5L in-line five cylinder engine that produces 300-hp and 295 lb.-ft. of torque and is mated to a six Šspeed close ratio manual transmission. Also standard on the new R AWD is a Four-C active chassis system that allows the driver to select from three separate settings: Comfort, Sport, or Advanced Sport. The 2.5T will be available with a limited production Titanium Edition Package that includes Bi-Xenon high intensity discharge headlights, power retractable side mirrors, leather sport bucket seats, rear roof spoiler and silver exterior trim. |
