| This yearŐs Nissan Altima will have significant changes from the previous year's model year. The 2.4-liter four cylinder engine offers five more horsepower through a revised camshaft, new valve lifters and modified exhaust manifolds. Nissan recognized the need for enhanced handling, so they increased the diameter of the front and rear stabilizer bars. This enhancement along with thicker front door glass, reshaped outside mirrors, reduced valve noise, in turn making the ride more quieter. Other noticeable changes for the new model are tune-up intervals being increased to 100,000 miles and new DURASTEEL outer body construction. The exterior also has a bolder grille, headlights, front fascia and new fog lights. |
