Yo! Adrienne!

Though never a Girl Scout, my personal motto is, “Be prepared!” Since marrying a man employed in the aerospace industry, unexpected travel opportunities have become a big part of my life. One impetus that propels us on the road, again is our...

I liked the old formula a lot better. The only
place I can find this has been on E Bay, but lately I cannot find it there either.

I wish Adrianne never changed the formula. The
new formula is OK for night, but not nearly as
good as the original formula, and as for using
it in the day - FORGOT IT, it really makes my
skin and the make-up I put on look terrible.

French Vanilla Meltdown is soooooo nice (Reply to this comment)

This is a great product, it smells wonderful. I've used all the most expensive, least and everything in between, this is my current favorite regardless of price.

Adrien Arpel is a hoot to watch on HSN. She is this iconic figure in the industry, very glamorous and beautiful. Her presentations are amazing, she makes up a face in about a minute. She talks about her family and how she's a grandmother and she has this great voice and laughs a lot. It's very entertaining.

The line's product packaging is just OK, disappointing in the case of the wondercover wheel with its flimsy plastic. The mfr could do a better job with this area.

The cosmetics are pure fun, you feel like a little girl playing with makeup for the first time when you receive the packages in the mail.

In terms of overall product image, Adrien's appeal cannot be overestimated. I wish HSN had her on more.

Helen-

I hope it's not unmanly to give this review the HR it so obviously deserves!

Of course I couldn't resist also reading the three pet-related reviews you've written this month (separate comments on two of them).

p.s. Hope you received my reply to your email and thanks for your special comments on my "Losing Two Best Friends' review!...Mark

As I promised, I am here and yours is the first review encountered, of course. Did you forget to tell the world that every female member of your family now uses nothing but Adrien Arpel? We love it and love you.

It's so hard to find quality skin care that doesn't test on animals. (Reply to this comment)

I wonder if my local dept. stores carry Adrian's products? Does she have an 800 # or a web site?

Where should I look: Macy's, Nordstrom, Neimans, Sephora?

Thanks,

katie

going shopping for Adrian! I already have a Freedom Bag. It has been wonderful for extended trips. On shorter ones, I get by with a plain ol' ziplock because it's smaller.

I love the sound of the products you describe, vanilla-YES!

Thanks, glo

Vanilla is my favorite scent by far, yet hard to find in most lotions. I don't wear makeup so don't know if I would need all the products you mentioned but I could sure use most of them.

After all, I'm not getting any younger and my face could use some gentle pampering.

Thanks for the recommendation! :)

First, thanks for the kind words... you are a darling!

Adrian Arpel has several lines, I just happen to like the one scented with Vanilla Bean. There is one that is called Sea Mist and another that is more of a citrus scent. I actually have one "illumination source" spray that smells like a tangelo.. lovely!

Again, thank you!

It is such a joy to read what you write, Helen. I've never heard of this company at all. Do you know if the products come in a scent other than vanilla? Just curious!

So nice to see you! Thanks for the excellent suggestions.

XOXO
