Mary Kay has introduced a new cleansing/moisturizing duo this past year.
It's called TimeWise. The name speaks for itself! The first step is a mixture of a trio of products...the cleanser, mask, and freshener (toner), hence the name 3-in-1 cleanser. The moisturizer if an age-fighting moisturizer, that has been proven to hydrate the skin for up to 10 hours, yet it is oil-free! The system is formulated for all skin types and is gentle enough to use daily.
Mary Kay's statistics show that with 8 weeks of use of the system, the skin softness is increased by 99%, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is reduced by 34% and skin elasticity is increased by 25%. Those are some pretty impressive statistics! The duo is rather inexpensive for the results you receive...$18 for the cleanser and $20 for the moisturizer.
I use the TimeWise system and have seen great results. My skin is smoother and looks and feels younger! The cleanser seems to last me about a month, but I think it depends on how much you use at a time. Some people have complained that it doesn't remove the eye make-up; I haven't had a problem with that. I do like the fact that I don't have to remember to freshen and mask (like with the classic skin care line) TimeWise has made it so much simpler. I have mixed feelings on the moisturizer. It does do everything that they claim it does, but, I have oily skin and even though it is oil-free, I still get oily from it! I have yet to find a moisturizer that doesn't make me oily, so it is something I have learned to live with.
I didn't care for the Masking Cleanser they came out with in 1999. I didn't feel that it got my face clean. I also didn't see the exfoliating advantages to it. So, in my opinion, this is the best and most convenient system Mary Kay has to offer!
